It's one of my favorite times of the year. I have a heart for the fall season, and fall decorating! I love fall so much that I break out my fall decor on September first, even if it's still boiling hot outside, as it often is here in North Carolina. October 1st is generally the day I start putting out my Halloween decorations, and let me tell you, for some reason, I love decorating for Halloween as much as I love decorating for Christmas!




Not long ago, I came across an adorable Etsy shop- Always In Season, owned by Jennie Lynne. As I looked through her shop, I saw that she had a large selection of beautiful and whimsical wooden decor for the home and garden. Always In Season had a wide range of holiday themed decor, and I couldn't help but look through everything! I contacted Jennie about being featured in our special Fall Feature, and she agreed to send something from her shop for the review. I couldn't wait to see what she was going to send to me!

When I received my special little package from Always In Season, I was delighted by what awaited me! Jennie sent me a Spooky Welcome Ghost. I think the Spooky Welcome Ghost has become my favorite Halloween decoration. It's been sitting on my kitchen shelf for a couple of weeks, and now I'm looking for a new place to put it! I want everyone who enters my home to see this adorable ghoul!I almost don't even want to call him a ghoul... he's too dang cute!

Spooky Welcome Ghost by Always In Season...

I love this adorable shelf sitter/hanger for a lot of reasons. It's completely wooden, and embellished with a little wire and raffia... and a piece of fabric. The Spooky Welcome Ghost is hand painted throughout. The Spooky Welcome banner is sparkly (this momma loves a little sparkle!), and so is the ghost's cute little pumpkin pal. A sophisticated little guy, Spooky Welcome Ghost fits right in at my house with his little bow tie! This sweet little autumn accent can easily sit on a shelf, a desk, a windowsill, hang on the wall or from a hook somewhere, etc. I think he's look adorable mixed in with some other Halloween friends in a Halloween display on a mantle of bookcase. You might even you him as a centerpiece in a Halloween wreath- just attach him to the wreath and let him hang down into the middle of it... he'll make quite an impression upon all who enter your home!

Now, it's true that I love Halloween, but I also love decorating for all of the holidays and all seasons. When I need cute decor, I am going to head back to Always In Season and shop with Jennie! Always In Season has whimsical and classic decor for every season! From Halloween to Christmas, Always In Season is a decorator's dream!

I think I'm going to have to make a little wish list for all of the things I want from Always In Season! All of these wonderful handmade items are beautifully crafted, with a lot of heart and soul poured into each piece. If you were to buy these decorative pieces in a craft or hobby shop, they would run you 30% or more than what Jennie sells them for in her shop! Wouldn't you rather purchase these cute seasonal accents from a real person, anyway? I think that any of the items featured by Always In Season would make wonderful gifts- for teachers, friends, co-workers, newlyweds, family, new homeowners, etc! If you're doing a Secret Santa swap this year, a gift from Always In Season would be a great choice!
