I am all for spa treatments, I just don't have the time or the extra money to actually go to the spa. Every now and then, I get a few minutes to myself for upkeep and maintenance... hard to come by, but definitely treasured when I get it! Since I'm a mommy on a tight budget, I have to make the spa come to me. My 'me time' is usually when I take my morning shower. I don't have a lot of fancy products in my tub... just the usual face wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. When I do, by chance, get to use a fancy product, it's truly a treat for this momma!

I used to use scrubs all the time, so I knew how good my skin was going to feel after using this product from Arbonne.

Traci promptly sent the Awaken Sea Salt Scrub to me, and I cracked it open and took it into the shower with me the very next morning. Now, this Sea Salt Scrub is from Arbonne's Aromassentials product line, which means that it is packed with essential oils for nourishing the skin... and, as you might have guessed, it smells delightful! Just the sheer scent of the Awaken Sea Salt Scrub will awaken your senses. I started my shower with my normal routine- washed the face, shampooed and rinsed the hair, and then put my conditioner in. While the conditioner worked its magic, I took a little scoop of the Sea Salt Scrub from Arbonne, and slowly began massaging it over my skin. I started at my neck and shoulder, went down my arms, and worked my way downward from there. I love the feeling you get from using a good exfoliant, and what better way to exfoliate tired skin than with sea salt?

The scrub swiped away all of the dead skin cells that were lying around on the surface (and I know it had to have been a lot, because my skin has been extra dry lately!), and at the same time, infused my skin with soothing essential oils. Now, I know what you're going to ask... did it leave my skin feeling waxy? The answer is no. The oils from the Awaken Sea Salt Scrub left my skin feeling renewed, silky and smooth. Not only that, but my skin actually appeared brighter. You know how we gals often put lotion on our arms and legs because our skin looks dull? Well, there's no need for that after using the Awaken Sea Salt Scrub. My skin kept on feeling yummy for a couple of days after using the scrub! So, now that I am the proud owner of the Awaken Sea Salt Scrub, I have added it into my shower routine... not every day, but every two or three days, depending on how dry my skin looks or feels. 

This is the perfect time of year to get acquainted with a great exfoliating and moisturizing product for your skin.
