I don't know what bath time is like at your house, but at my house, it's tons of fun! Balian has been a water baby from the very beginning! He has never shied away from water, and even before he was big enough to sit in the water by himself, I could tell he wanted to! I encourage Balian to have a good time while in the bath- playing with his toys, drawing on the tub with the special tub crayons he got as a birthday gift, making bubbles, and splashing away! I usually enjoy bath time, too... until I get soaked by a big splash of water! What's a mommy, daddy or babysitter to do? We have to kneel right in front of the tub during bath time, so getting wet seems to be inevitable. My mother-in-law simply puts on one of my husband's t-shirts when giving Balian a bath, which is fine, but I refuse to change clothes more often than necessary just because I can't seem to keep dry at bath time!

I can't tell you how many times I was afraid to bath Balian when I was home alone after we first started giving him baths in the big tub. I was worried that he would slip right out of my hands when wet (he was a very wiggly baby), and didn't even want to think about what might happen to him if I did, in fact, drop him. Trying to pick a baby up with a towel is hard, too... I always managed to end up soaking wet!

The Stay-Dry Bath Apron and Towel is really easy to use. The day it arrived was actually a bath day, and it was Sacha's turn to give the bath while I did the dishes. I asked him to wear the (pink!) Stay-Dry Bath Apron and Towel to try it out and let me know his thought. He absolutely forbid me to take a photo of him wearing the pink apron... so I left him alone to test it out. The Stay-Dry Bath Apron and Towel also comes with a matching wash mitt, which is really handy! My hubby said the Stay-Dry Apron and Towel did keep him dry, and made getting Balian out of the tub much easier. He also liked being able to use the wash mitt to soap Balian up!

Of course, I had to try the Stay-Dry Bath Apron & Towel out for myself, so I waited until B and I were home alone and stuck him in the bath after grabbing the apron. It has a velcro closure around the neck, so I was able to get it on with no problem. There are ties on the sides to tie the apron in the back, and they are long ties, which makes getting it tied when you're alone much easier. There is also a pocket on the front of the apron, which I really like, because I can tuck Balian's baby wash in there and grab it as I need to. I also stuck his hair comb in the pocket the comb out any of the little tangles I might come across. The Stay-Dry Bath Apron and Towel kept me dry through thirty blissful minutes of splashing and washing. The true test of this product was when I drained the tub, untied the apron in the back, and picked Balian up with the towel, while still wearing it around my neck. It worked like a dream! Balian is a little too tall, but that aside, it kept me dry and wrapped him up and dried him off all at the same time!
