My kind of night sort of goes like this...
Ah, the house is quiet! I am all alone and I've done my Pilates, had dinner and now it's time to for some good old fashioned relaxing! What am I going to do? Why, head into the bedroom, the bathroom and back to bedroom again, because those are where my moments of utter relaxation occur... and that's also where my favorite new spa products just happen to be!

When I was contacted by Mylah Stanton about reviewing some products from Lemongrass Spa, I couldn't turn her down! I hardly ever get any time to myself. The fact that I am alone in my own house at this very moment is like a dream come true. I have to take my little moments when I can get them, and the truth is- I cherish every single second! I know it sounds selfish, but after a long day of diaper changes, milk spills, Cheerio pick ups, stumbling over toys, several loads of laundry, cooking, cleaning, blogging, putting in hours of work volunteering for church, and just being a mommy and wife, I need those moments!



I had actually never heard of Lemongrass Spa before being introduced to their products by Mylah. She told me that there were some things I just had to try, and she was super excited about sending me some samples. Within just a few days of getting the ball rolling, I had a nice package from the UPS man at my door, straight from Lemongrass Spa! I ripped into it, of course- like a kid on Christmas morning (my husband is worse with my packages- trust me!). I was excited to see that Mylah chose to send me a  nice little travel set of trial sized products from Lemongrass Spa. In a cute little clear plastic pouch, I received Eternal Bliss Body Silk, Pink Grapefruit Body Polish, Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap, and a Pink Shimmer Lip Balm.

Eternal Bliss Body Silk...

I decided to try the Eternal Bliss Body Silk first. This amazing body lotion really does make your skin feel as though it's wrapped in silk. It has a tiny little hint of fragrance, which is nice. I don't like it when my lotions are too perfume-y. The Body Silk itself is very light. It covers and hydrates well, but it isn't thick, nor is it watery. I've used this first thing in the morning, before bedtime, right after a workout, and it just makes my skin come back to life after looking dull and tired. It gives my skin a nice little glow, and definitely makes it feel super soft and smooth. The Body Silk is filled with lots of great stuff for your skin like vitamin E, and avocado oil. It's also lightly scented with yummy pomegranate extract!

Pink Shimmer Lip Balm...

Next, I wanted to try the Pink Shimmer lip balm. I have to be honest here, I used to have a really terrible addiction to lip balms. I know it sounds silly, but it was a serious problem for me. I was re-applying lip balm every fifteen minutes, all day long. My lips got too used to the lip balm, and just craved more and more moisture. It has taken me YEARS to get to a place where I don't need to put lip balm on at all, so I am very selective about what goes onto my lips. The Pink Shimmer looked too cute not to try, so I twisted off the cap and lightly brushed some of the balm across my lips. The balm is nice and light, and includes a blend of coconut oil, apricot kernal oil, cocoa butter and a hint of stevia, which gives it a yummy taste! This a a great balm for every day use- it protects your lips from the elements (wind, etc...) and it tastes great! It's a nice sheer balm, which enhances the natural color of your lips. I have been carrying this Pink Shimmer lip balm around with me in my purse and using it daily since I received it. You can buy the balm alone, or you can buy an entire set of four different balms. There are other flavors available, too! Can't wait to try those!

 Pink Grapefruit Body Polish...

Next up, I wanted to try the Pink Grapefruit Body Polish... so I headed to the powder room and used it in the shower. I had just shaved my legs, and decided to go ahead and 'polish' my legs with the Lemongrass Spa Body Polish. I unscrewed the cap to the body polish and my senses were immediately awakened with the scent of the grapefruit fragrance. The grapefruit fragrance is combined with sugar, almond oil and honey. It's a fantastic product to use when you want to exfoliate stubborn skin areas like your feet and elbows. I sort of like being able to 'seal' my skin after shaving my legs, and the Pink Grapefruit Body Polish was just the thing to do it! Let me tell you- it smoothed right into my skin and melted away. My thirsty skin just soaked that oil right up! The body polish left my skin feel smooth, and it also added a nice, lively shine to my skin... and most of us use lotions to achieve this look (especially in the spring and summer months). I don't need to look anywhere else for a better sugar scrub- I am in love! There are lots of other body polishes available, too- choose from scents like Lemon Sorbet, Pomegranate, Tangerine and many more!

 Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap...

While in the shower, I also used the Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap. I so love this soap. I have used it in place of my favorite body wash, and I may never turn back! Most soaps and body washes that I have used have all left my skin feeling lack-luster and dry afterward... but this soap is totally different! The oatmeal milk and honey soap both moisturizes and exfoliates at the same time. It's like a smooth and delicate buffer for my skin that drips milk and honey to soak into the skin, while the oatmeal gently lifts away dead skin. I even used this soap to wash my face with, just to see what would happen, and my skin looked and felt healthier than it had in ages!

Lemongrass Spa offers lots of wonderful products that I can't wait to try. Who wouldn't love knowing that all of their products are 97-100% all natural, and handmade in the Colorado Rockies! I love that their products are affordable, too! That means I can try more than just one product at a time!
