Part of Ondria's Travel Feature
A must for this traveling momma is to take some toiletry items on every trip. I am notorious for having to take ridiculously large, full bottles of everything with me on a trip- even just overnight! I never pick those little re-usable travel bottles up, and end up having to grab crappy shampoo, lotion or whatever out of the dollar travel items bins at the nearest Wal-Mart. Sometimes, I even swipe the little complimentary shampoos from the hotel I'm staying at, just so I'll have them for a future trip!
This time, though, I wanted it to be different. I wanted to be organized and packed, and take things with me that I wanted to actually use- things I would use if I were still at home, which who be comforting to me while out of my element. I was gearing up to spend four out of nine days traveling by car- two nights in a hotel, and six nights at my sister's house in Coweta (Tulsa suburb), OK. I didn't want to have to settle for hotel soaps and lotions and I just knew that I would leave the packing to the very last minute, despite my ability to be and operate extremely well-organized.
As luck would have it, Cindy Allen, a consultant with Pink Papaya contacted me about sending me some products to review while on my trip! I was intrigued that she was going to be sending me a travel set, and that it was from Pink Papaya, a company I had heard of, but had never tried anything from. I happily accepted Cindy's offer, and she promptly sent me a Bathtini Travel Set in the Exotic Scent. The package arrived at the perfect time- just a couple of days before Christmas, and my impending trip to OK.
Pink Papaya's Bathtini Travel Set in Exotic
I couldn't wait to tear into the packaging and open up my new travel goodies from Cindy! The Bathtini Set included a Body Mist, Sugar Scrub, Body Lotion and Shower Gel. I decided to wait until I was on the trip to try them out. Since they came to me in a clear plastic zip pouch, I just added a couple of other things I needed for the hotel, and tossed it into my overnight bag. I love that I can reuse that zip pouch- I'm hanging on to that!
When I awoke at 6:30 am the Tuesday after Christmas, my husband and sweet baby were still asleep, so I had a few moments to myself. I always cherish my morning shower... my alone time! I pulled out my zip pouch from Pink Papaya and took the sugar scrub and shower gel into the shower with me. I started with the shower gel. I felt so grungy from being in the car all day Monday, that I just wanted to wash it all away. The Exotic Shower Gel smelled lovely! It lathered nicely, and I felt truly clean after having used it. I followed up with the sweet sugar scrub... just because I wanted to! I have never in my life used a more pampering scrub! Not only did the sugar just melt into my skin, the scrub contains moisturizer, so it left my skin feeling silky smooth all day! It didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or waxy, it was just velvety-smooth and soft!
I then spritzed some of the body mist into the air and walked through it. My husband commented on how nice my hair smelled all day long! I think I have a new favorite fragrance... and it's way less expensive than my favorite perfume! It's a nice scent that doesn't overpower anyone and it didn't stir up my sensitive nose, which I loved! The clean scent stayed with me all day long, which I didn't expect. I was very pleasantly surprised by that.
I used the lotion daily on vacation, and I continue to use it now. I love that it's just the perfect weight and thickness. It's not too light- so it doesn't feel watery, and yet it isn't greasy or heavy, either. The lotion left my skin feeling moisturized, and incredibly smooth. I even used it on my elbows, which tend to be a drier spot during the cold months, and the skin over them perked right up, as if bouncing back to life!
The Bathtini Travel Set from Pink Papaya is $29.00, and is available in four different scents, including Sun, Sexy Beach, Exotic, and Love Crush. The scent that I received, Exotic is an enticing blend of vanilla, pineapple and musk that men seem to find irresistible! Exotic is Pink Papaya's most popular fragrance, and it's not hard to see why. I think the fragrance is much nicer than any of my favorites at a certain bath and body products store, and I'd even venture to say that they quality of the actual product far surpasses most others! PP's products are infused with botanical extracts, so they're good for your skin and they'll certainly boost your confidence, as they'll make you feel wonderful!

If you are at all like me, and long for that spa-like experience, but can't afford it or just don't have the time to get yourself there, give Pink Papaya a try! Cindy sent me a catalog, and I have also been browsing her website and have already come across lots of products I want to try!
