Since becoming a mommy, I have made it a habit and a priority to pay more attention to the products my family uses on a regular basis. I often look for ways to live a greener, healthier, natural life, as do many of the moms I know. When I hear natural products, cleaning supplies are usually the first things that pop into my mind for some reason... but what about other products that most of us use daily? How do we connect with the right companies or brands that truly do produce all natural products that are safe for our families?

My special goodies from Daisy Blue arrived, and I didn't wait a single second to get right into the Awesome Almond Body Butter. This is no ordinary body butter! The Awesome Almond Body Butter from Daisy Blue is a super rich, thick and creamy body butter! It's a luscious blend of almonds and shea butter which soften and soothe the skin. After I removed the lid from the jar of Awesome Almond Body Butter, it looked so pretty that I almost didn't want to stick a finger into it and mess it up, but I was just dying to try it, so I dove into it and scooped out a little dab and smoothed it into the skin on my arm. I've got to be honest- I have spent a lot (and I mean A LOT) of money on many different body butters (my husband has an addiction to them- uses them on his feet) only to end up disappointed by them. The Awesome Almond Body Butter is super thick, but it glides onto the skin so beautifully! It seems completely weightless, almost like water! It is an amazing moisturizer, too, and it leaves the skin feeling cool and soothed, like it's being healed and rejuvinated each and every time you use it! My skin absolutely looks healthier and more vibrant.

I also used the Awesome Almond Body Butter on the bottoms of my feet. My feet used to look so beautiful, but years of wearing heels and flats with no socks, and being on them all day has not been kind to them. Nowadays, I just don't have a lot of time to take good care of my feet, so they sort of get ignored (sorry, feet!). I knew that if I used the Awesome Almond Body Butter on my feet, they would look and feel better. No one really ever sees the bottom of my tootsies except for my husband, but no one wants dry heels in their lap, right girls? Right after I smoothed the body butter onto my feet, I noticed a huge difference. My dry spots were gone, cracks started to heal, and I honestly felt like I had just received a pedicure and had my feet dipped into the wax. The best thing of all is that yes, I can use the Awesome Almond Body Butter daily if I so choose, but I don't need to, because the effect lasts for quite a few days! I love that I don't have to worry about slathering my feet every night before bedtime- and that the body butter isn't secretly making my skin even drier because of some of the ingredients in it!

Lavender Bar Soap...
Okay, now onto the Lavender Soap! I have not used bar soap in ages. My husband isn't a big fan of bar soap, so we just don't normally buy it. I sincerely hope that after having used the Lavender Bar Soap from Daisy Blue for a couple of weeks, he has changed his mind! I have been loving this soap! I have been using it in the shower, and love everything about it! I love the way it smells- gentle hints of lavender relax, yet awaken my senses every morning when I use it. It's an excellent cleanser, and it has an incredibly rich later, which I love, because that means I can use it to shave my legs! The soaps from Daisy Blue are (like all of their products) 100% natural and are appropriate for all skin types from dry and flaky to excessively oily (like mine!). These soaps are made with olive oil and coconut oil, which gently soothe and pamper your skin while cleansing. I can even use this (and I have!) in the evenings when Balian is taking a bath, because lavender is very calming, and since the soap is all natural, I have nothing to worry about! Choose from a variety of soaps like Almonilla, Sweet Orange, Zante Currant, Lavender and Melon Tea. I can't wait to try them all! ReplyDeletelove the body butter as i sit and look at my painfully heavily washed hands. They look like the dry wrinkly hands of someone twice my age. All do to constant washing hands with 3 kids.... always a diaper or a bum to wipe. I could use some butter loving.
