I was super excited and totally surprised when I opened up my brand new Nook on Christmas morning. We were going to be headed on a super long trip from NC to OK, by car, and my dad thought that Nooks would make great gifts for me, my hubby and my mom. He was right! They were awesome to have on that trip, and I'm going to take my Nook everywhere from now on! The only thing I wished I had on that trip, though, was a cover for my Nook. When traveling with a little one, spills and messes are unavoidable, and the last thing I want is for my Nook to get sticky, crushed, etc!

Luckily, I knew just where to turn to look for a Nook cover! My favorite shop for stationary, journals and accessories now carries Nook and E-Reader covers! Hooray! That's right, Peter Pauper Press now has a fantastic line of covers to choose from!

Our pals at Peter Pauper Press allowed me to choose a Nook cover to review, so I headed to their website to browse the many styles of covers they have to choose from. The Nook covers are stylish, fun and affordable! There are several designs to choose from, too!

 Neo Skin Nook 2nd Edition Cover- Owls

I received the Neo Skin Nook 2nd Edition Cover- Owls. I was impressed by how lightweight, yet sturdy the cover was! It was ready for use, so I unzipped it (to open it), slid my Nook into it, and stretched the elastic corner bands over the four corners of my Nook. The bands held my Nook securely in place when I picked it up. There was no sliding or anything! I like that I can keep my Nook in the cover while I'm reading. The straps may loosen a little over time, but that won't keep them from being able to keep my Nook in place. I'm not worried about it. The front of the Neo Skin Cover simply folds back behind my Nook while I'm using it, and goes right back into place when I'm ready to close it back up. The Neo Skin cover zips closed all the way around, and it features built-in screen protection on the inside! Love that about the cover!

I love having this new cover for my Nook! Now I don't have to be worried if Balian gets his hands on it and it accidentally gets dropped. The Neo Skin cover offers a little soft buffer between my Nook and accidental danger! I can easily drop my Nook into my purse, the diaper bag, or wherever I need to! I enjoy taking my Nook to bible study, having it on my nightstand, taking it with me if I know I'm going to be in the car for a long time, etc!

I think these Neo Skin E-Reader Covers from Peter Pauper Press are fabulous! I have definitely enjoyed using my Owl Cover with my Nook. It's a fun and vibrant design, and it really does an excellent job protecting my Nook. These would make great gifts for kids, teens, college students and adults, alike!
