Katie's Creative Baking (Review & Giveaway)

Katie’s Creative Baking
Part of our Easter Parade Feature

I don’t have kids of my own yet, so I’ve never filled an Easter basket. However, I feel I am still somewhat of an expert on awesome Easter baskets due to the fact that Mr. E. Bunny has always come through for me. Growing up my sister and I always got great baskets full of candy, toys, CDs, movies, and a plethora of other cool stuff. We were lucky ladies.

This year, when you are getting baskets ready for your little bunnies, or big bunnies for that matter, skip the candy and go with cookies, Katie’s Creative Baking cookies to be exact. These are by far the cutest cookies I have EVER seen, and they taste pretty good too! Wouldn't these look simply adorable in your kids baskets?!
These are so cute I just want to eat them up! Oh wait, you can!!

I think the bunnies are my favorite of the Easter cookies!

You can fill your bunnies basket with more baskets!

Katie Duran, owner of Etsy shop Katie’s Creative Baking, was really nice and great to work with. She sent me one dozen individual wrapped Easter themed cookies, as well as a sample baggie of her chocolate cookies. How great is that? Josh and I preferred the regular sugar cookies over the chocolate but they were both good. On of my favorite parts of the cookies was the icing. It was hard and really crunchy, like those yummy sugar decorations you can get to put on cake. I really enjoyed dipping the cookies in a glass of cold milk, you got a nice soft cookie with a big sugary crunch. Yum!
I tried to take a picture of my Easter cookies but my camera just doesn't do them justice!

Katie graduated from the French Culinary Institute specializing in classic pastry art, as well as Rochester Institute of Technology specializing in photography and interior design. She loves what she does, because she feels like she influences people’s lives in little ways. Who doesn’t love that feeling?

Katie’s Creative Baking doesn’t just do Easter cookies, Katie does many holidays, and will even work with you one on one to make custom cookies just for you. Check out some of her other amazing work.

  2. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and the time when we see the most cookies around here. I never get tired of the pretty designs I see, so I suppose I would say more Christmas cookies. =)
