A new Spring/Summer 2012 catalog, a Chunk Bar (pages 14-15 in catalog), and an info sheet

 

The packaging is really simple and funky all at the same time. I love the green/black/white color combination and being gender neutral, works perfectly. The paper wrap is also printed on 100% recycled material.

I love the saying on the back of: Boys & Girls Everywhere: WASH.

Although I read the package and it clearly states: BLACK CHARCOAL SOAP, I was surprised to open the wrapping and discover a bar of black soap---how stinking cool is that?!?

Charcoal soap you ask, yes-Charcoal soap. The activated charcoal is non-toxic and efficiently absorbs free radicals. Along with the charcoal, silt and carbon also help to absorb over 1000 times its own weight in pollution and free radicals. The natural shea butter helps to calm and soothe the skin. It has a very crisp, natural fragrance. My skin seems to hold the fragrance longer than our other soaps have and it is not overpowering in any way.

This Perfectly Posh Chunk bar is 7 full ounces of soap. We have been using it for around a week now and it is still just as big as it was. I was a little hesitant that it might leave a black residue on my body or shower, but it does not. I do think the rinsed water has a darker hue to it, but that could just be me.  My husband, after making sure it was "safe" for him to use, is a fan too. My skin feels fresh and for lack of a better word, clean, but not just "not dirty", like some of the deeper grossness has been taken out--does that make sense to anyone?

I like that this bar isn't gender specific, it doesn't have a manly or girly scent to it, it is cleansing, and all-natural. I appreciate how much soap you get in the bar, much longer lasting. My husband and I both can use this bar and feel like our skin is healthier.
