NC Summer Camps Directory (Review)

Hey parents and caregivers, summer will soon be here, and school will be out! How do you plan to keep the kids entertained, engaged, and keep their minds stimulated while they're out of school?

If you're a resident of North Carolina, live close to NC or are planning a visit to NC this summer, you'll definitely want to check out the NC Summer Camps Directory. This awesome directory provides information on tons of summer camp options, including:

Arts Camps
Church Camps
Sports Camps
Academic Camps
Residential Camps
Specialty Camps

I have visited many of the camps in this directory, including Camp Caraway and Camp Thunderbird, and can tell you that I loved them many moons ago, when I was a young girl. There are so many great camps to get your kids involved in this summer, including music and drama camps, cooking camp, Lego camp, Spanish camp, science camp, and many more... these are just a few examples of the camps in and around the city closest to me- Charlotte.

My son isn't old enough for summer camp yet, but I can't wait until he's big enough to do some of the local day camp activities!

NC Summer Camps offers sub-directories for eight major NC cities, so there's bound to be something fun for your child to choose close by! Along with the directory pages, NC Summer Camps offers helpful hints for parents who are thinking about sending their kids to camp this summer.

Helpful info to answer the following questions parents may have:

  1. I was informed recently that Lutheridge, a Lutheran Camp located in Arden, still has scholarship money available for those in need! Their programming begins with 1st grade and up.
