Our Review of "Secret of the Wings":
*Spoiler Alert*
*Spoiler Alert*
This movie was out of the package before I could even say go. Both Scarlett and surprisingly Beckett were super excited to watch this movie. They both had seen previews on the Disney channel and knew a little about it. This particular DVD set we received contained both Blu-Ray and regular DVD, along with a game and a 3D bonus discs.
I was pleased on how interested both kids were, there were both boy and girl fairies which kept both of them interested. Beckett laughed quite a few times when the boys did something silly and Scarlett loved seeing all the fairies flitting about. The story itself was very good and even heartwarming, Tinker Bell learns she has a sister, and watching them go through the movie together and the connecting with each other, even though is it supposed to be forbidden, gives it some excitement and holds your attention.
The animation and quality is very good as well. Disney has done an amazing job on creating such vast differences between the Winter Woods and Pixie Hollow and how Tinker Bell changes between the two separate worlds.
We have long been a fan of Disney movies at our house. I am glad that Tinker Bell has finally found a place in these movies. She is spunky, good natured, and fun and that makes her a good role model for younger girls. Her friends are also positive role models too. I think Disney's Secret of the Wings was a homerun in our house and will continued to be asked for again and again and again.
