February Spotlight Sponsor
As a blogger, I have the pleasure of working with some really great people who love what they sell and learning about different companies. This month I was able to work with Amber Rose Petersen with Grace Adele. Grace Adele is a sister company of scentsy, and we all love scentsy, so of course we're all gonna love Grace Adele! Well, at least I love them!!! They sell handbags, accessories and jewelry, but it's not as simple as it sounds, they have everything from clutches and scarves to purse clip- ons and earrings. Makeup bags and tablet totes and journals, OH MY! Plus so much more. So many options for a girl, or guy(wink, wink) to chose! For this review Amber sent me two thing to show the wide array of products that Grace Adele has to offer, a cute heart, purse clip on and a lovely leopard print scarf.
What Amber didn't know is that I was in desperate need of a new scarf. Winter is just getting started here in Oklahoma and I've gone all winter thus far without a proper scarf! So when it arrived, I pulled it out of the package so I could try it on! The first thing I noticed was how soft it is. Usually designer scarves are scratchy and stiff and you have to wash them several times in order to soften them up before you want to wear it. The scarf from Grace Adele was not like that at all. Perfectly soft and comfortable and very fashionable, especially the fringe on the ends of the scarf. I really like how well made that was. Most fringe is cheap and starts to fall out or come apart after a few wears, but this has stood the test because I have worn it about ten times in the last two weeks! Is it hard to tell that I am in LOVE with this scarf?
Awesome Fringe!
I have recently acquired the love for animal print, and my husband refuses to buy it for me, so I was thrilled that I got a chance to review it! Plus, since the scarves are $15.00, I know Cory won't mind me getting a few more to add to my collection! The Ombre scarves are all the rage right now, I love that Grace Adele stays on top of the fashion trends so I know that I won't embarrass myself! Well, with my fashion sense that is. I tend to embarrass myself on a daily basis!
One Of The Many Available Ombre Grace Adele Scarves
Animal print is so versatile, but I like to wear it as a statement piece. I usually pair my Grace Adele scarf with a simple black t-shirt and dark wash jeans. The leopard/cheetah print pops against a neutral background, but I also wore it paired with my hot pink coat the other afternoon to the store and the teenage cashier said, and I quote, "That scarf and coat look wicked cool!" Guess I'm not getting to old to rock the animal print, or hot pink!! I also have a Little Black Dress that I am dying to wear this scarf with. I've been begging my hubs to take me out somewhere nice so I can show it off! We'll see how that goes!
Looks Great and Incredibly Warm!
I was lucky enough to be able to review a second Grace Adele product, the Hearts-Silver Clip-on. The clip-on is really a beautiful addition to have in your accessory collection. It can either be used as a purse clip-on or a key chain, that is made with three different dangling hearts, a diamond style jewel and a key. They all hang at different level and really give the clip-on depth and dimension. It sparkles and shines hanging on a purse, and it's like jewelry for your purse!
Hearts-Silver Clip-On
What's cool about the Hearts-Silver Clip-on is that it can go from purse jewelry to key chain in just a few seconds. Or, what I am planning on doing is putting my keys on it and then clipping it to my purse with the keys hanging inside my bag so they are easy to find. I'm really bad about losing my keys to the black hole that is at the bottom of my bag! I hate digging for my keys in the parking lot always keeping one eye on my surroundings. This will ease that hassle in my life!
Clipped On And Ready To Go!
But don't limit yourself to just a purse clip-on or a key chain. Why not clip it onto your Grace Adele scarf for some extra flair? Use it as a luggage marker, clip it onto your belt loop and jazz up those jeans, add it to your daughter's back pack or lunch pail, she'll be the envy of all her friends! The possibilities are limitless! And, thanks to Amber, one lucky reader will get the chance to win a Hearts-Silver clip-on of their own. Believe me, this is something you want to win! But don't be discouraged if you don't win, the clip-on range from $10-$15 and there are many styles for you to choose from!
Thanks, Amber Rose Petersen for allowing me to review not one but two really awesome pieces from Grace Adele and for sponsoring this cool giveaway!
