'Back to school, back to school...' Sometimes I can't help but smile and laugh as back to school season moves in, because I'm thinking of the movie Billy Madison, starring Adam Sandler. Anyone out there remember that one? In that film, in that film, I remember how much the kids in Billy's class, loved their teacher. Many of them would wind up bringing special gifts for her, which is great way to show appreciation as the new year begins. Even today, parents are still looking for great little gifts for their children's new teachers, and we sure have some great ideas for you!

So, I have a little confession to make... I love just about everything that Thirty-One Gifts has come out with! Their products are so useful, that I have built up quite a little collection of them! I am always so excited when it's my turn to work with Dottie. Dottie is so, so nice, she's a Carolina girl, like me, and she always seems to know just which Thirty-one product is fitting for my life at the time we're to be working together! Since it's now the fall season, Thirty-One has a fresh new catalog of products available, and lots of fun new patterns and prints!
A little preview of some of the new prints for fall!
When Dottie and I chatted about what to feature for our Back to School Blast, though there were a ton of products that I would have loved to select this go 'round, the Littles Carry All stuck out to me. I didn't have one, and though it's a smaller, inexpensive item, I thought it would be the perfect Back to School item, and so did Dottie!
My Littles Carry All, and some shopportunistic info from Thirty-one!
This year is Thirty-one's 10th Anniversary, which is awesome! They sure must be doing something right! I know their products are well loved- I see them everywhere I go! My Littles Carry All was folded flat and wrapped in plastic when it arrived.
Cute little tote!
All popped up and ready to go!
I received the Littles Carry All in the adorable Best Buds pattern. It's also available in Black Spotty Dot, Black Floral Brushestrokes, Plum Gingham Pop, Punch Bowl, Sea Plaid, and Snow Daze. This little handy tote measures 6”H x 5.5”W x 5.5”D and is only $12.00! It features a carry handle, and a mesh pocket in the front for even more storage! You can fill up this cute little square organizer with just about anything. It's the perfect size for office supplies, cosmetic brushes, etc.
The Littles Carry All, housing some of my MBP goodies...
At first, I thought it would be really cute (and handy) to store a few of my pending MBP review items in the Little Carry All. That way, they had a place to temporarily live, and I could just pick everything up at once and move it to where I needed the items to be when I worked on a review piece. They all looked so nice in there! Then, I walked into our master bedroom and saw the nightmare that is my hubby's work desk. It has a pretty deep hutch on top for storage, and it was truly disatrous. My hubby isn't so organized, and his little tiny bottles of oil, lube, polishing cloths, tiny tools, etc., for his trombone, were everywhere! Since I can't handle that stuff being all over the place, I decided that I would let him borrow my Littles Carry All for his trombone stuff.
Tiny little bottles and tools- all in the Littles Carry All from Tthirty-One!
I stuffed a little polishing cloth set case in here, too!
The front pocket is the perfect place to store some of his listening CD's, and the desk keys!
I was so pleased by how much I was able to fit into the Littles Carry All! You should have seen the mountain of mess that came from all of those little things before. Now, thery're all in one organized place, and the hutch on the desk looks neat! Yay!
Looks great just sitting on the shelf...
Pick it up and take it with you...
One of things I love most about this (and that my hubby is loving, too), is the cary handle. He can pick up all of his essentials for his horn and move them from place to place, or even take them with him to a rehearsal, or when he heads to our church just to get some practice time in. He has a pretty big symphony orchestra audition coming up in October, so he truly needs these little things to be available. I am happy to see them organized, and happy that my husband is happy with my idea to store them this way. If any of his trombone goop spills out of any of those botttles, all hubs needs to do, is to wipe the Littles Carry All down with a damp cloth!
Plum Gingham Pop Littles Carry All
Dottie and I were both thinking that these Littles Carry All organizers are the perfect Back to School gift for teachers! It would be great to fill them with extra pens and pencils, maybe some small packs of tissues, and a little treat, etc. Not only will the teacher be appreciative of the supplies, he or she will be able to use the Littles Carry All to organize things at their desk, or to carry to and from their home to school, etc. With the holidays coming our way soon (I know you don't want to think about that yet, but it's coming!), definitely think about one of these for a holiday gift! The Snow Daze pattern with the snowmen is adorable!
