Our Acts of Kindness from Last Week...

I wanted to actually share a couple of Christmas surprises that were a blessing to me/my family. We received a Christmas card from our landlord, who is also a family friend and our neighbor, and to our surprise, they included gift card for us. It was so sweet of them, and helped us out while we were on vacation over Christmas break. Another gift that I was blessed by, was a beautiful mug, a piece of pottery, that was given to me by my friend Michelle, who teaches music with me at church. She remembered me saying that I love mugs, but my hubby won't let me buy anymore, since I have so many, so she bought me a beautifully made mug to add to my collection. It's my new favorite, and it certainly brightened my day!

I was on vacation last week, so I didn't have too many opporunities for random acts of kindness. One thing we were sure to do, however, was to make sure we had lots of special things for little B man to do. It's hard for a three year old to understand why the adults just want to sit around and read/relax all day, so we planned lots of special activities, just for him, and he had a wonderful vacation, too!
