Relieve Tired, Aching Feet with Stylish Flipsters Sandals! #Style Review + #Giveaway

I love shoes, and have quite the shoe collection. When I worked in an office setting, I wore heels every day. After I became a mom, I quickly realized that heels weren't really the best idea for me- the clumsy first time mom of an adorable little newborn. It's taken me a couple of years to get back to wanting to wear my heels, and when I do wear them, I quickly remember how uncomfortable they can be on my feet! Let's face it, women's dress shoes may look fabulous, but they often leave our toes pinched, feet aching, and can even cause serious foot problems over time.

After a long day in heels, sometimes all a gal wants is to kick off her shoes, but that's not always an option. For anyone who knows what it's like to have to commute- walking a distance from your home, or the place you park your car, to catch the train, the bus, etc, it can be very uncomfortable. Walking your child to the bus in your heels? No thanks! When I heard about Flipsters, an Australian born company that makes fold-up flip-flops, I have to say, I was intrigued. Ben and Rick teamed up to create a comfortable fold up womens flip-flop, with a three fold triangle design. They realized that there were other fold up shoes on the market, but noticed the trouble they caused women, by the shoe actually trying to fold up when worn.

Flipsters are sold all over the world, and today, they come in a variety of styles and colors, including flip-flops and shoes. Flipsters are meant to give you a stylish, comfortable shoe option after a long day in heels or uncomfortable shoes. The folks at Flipster believe that even though they start being worn at the end of the day, eventually customers will want to wear them all night long, or even all day long, given their stylish design and comfort factor.

I was super excited to receive a pair of Flipsters to try out for myself!

I received the original Flipsters in Copper. I wanted to select a color that would go with just about anything. The Flipsters come folded up, and packaged inside of a little zip carry pouch. This is the perfect place to store your Flipsters, and then toss them into your purse, backpack, tote bag, briefcase, etc.

What makes Flipsters really different from the other fold up shoes and flats out there, it that they fold up three times, instead of folding once over. I have had some other fold up shoes that just won't stay folded up, won't fit back into their carry pouches, or try to fold up on my when I wear them, causing them to fall off of my feet! The tri-fold design helps keep the Flipster sandal stable when wearing, meaning it won't try to fold up on you, and won't fall off.

I noticed right off, that the Flipsters were sturdy. The sole of the sandal is a lot thicker and more durable than other fold ups that I have experienced. They were easy to slip into- I didn't have to fight with the straps to get them to stay where they belonged. The straps are very thin, and are almost ribbbon-like, but they're strong, and I doubt that I have to worry about them breaking or unravelling.

The Flipsters are a great fit! I love the strap across the back of the heel, which helps to hold them in place.

I knew the true test for the Flipsters would be wearing them out and about, so I slipped into them before making a quick trip to the store. They performed the way I expected them to, meaning they were cute, comfortable, the straps didn't hurt my feet, they didn't t to fall off, and one of the most important things: the front of the sandal didn't catch on the floor, pavement or concrete, causing me to scrape my toes. I have a lot of flimsy sandals that always catch in the front, and I am so glad that these don't do that!

I give Flipsters two thumbs up- for comfort, style and functionality!

Flipsters look great with everyday attire, business attire, or semi-casual attire- basically, just about anything!

I really love the versatility of Flipsters. They're perfect to wear out, just because you want to wear them, or they're awesome to have in your bag to slip on after a long day in uncomfortable shoes. I have actually been carrying my Flipsters along with me when we're out all day. Even if we're on a family outing, and I have to be in my sneakers all day, I take these along to slip into when we get back into the car. I hate for my feet to be confined, and this way, they get to breathe and I can relax a bit in these stylish fold ups!

When I was ready to take my Flipsters off, I quickly and easily folded them back up, and put them back into their pouch until I needed them again. Couldn't have been easier! I think every gal, whether working outside of the home or not, deserves a pair of Flipsters. Carry them with you when you go out for drinks and a night of dancing, on date night with your hubby, on long day trips with the family, to work, school, ro anywhere else your day might take you. At the end of the day, your aching, tired tootsies will thank you for slipping into these comfortable sandals!
