Baby C has grown up, eek! She is one now, but still very much my baby. We are transitioning from nursing to sippy cups of whole milk and she is working on two new teeth (to make 4 in total), what a big girl. Luckily, the sippy cups have gone pretty well so far and teething hasn't been horrible, and thanks to MAM products, they are going even easier for us.
MAM, started in 1976, is the leading design brand in baby care. With their headquarters located in Switzerland and Austria, and offices in Germany, UK, Hungary, Sweden, Thailand, Brazil, Spain, USA, Greece and France, MAM has over 580 employees worldwide. MAM offer parents real solutions with smart and simple products. MAM focuses on creating innovative, medically sound, functional baby care essentials. Their collections include pacifiers, bottles, teethers, cups, and oral care items.
Partnering with MAM sounded like a great opportunity to get some baby care items for Baby C. We were allowed to select a few things that looked interesting and I got straight to work looking at all their amazing products. Knowing that C was getting bigger by the day, I looked at what I felt would best suit her needs and settled on three items.
My first item comes from the MAM Oral Care Line. MAM's Oral Care line was developed in conjunction with health practictioners to help maintain baby's oral health from birth on. All of their oral care products are BPA, PVC, and lead free. This is great news for all parents. With items like the Oral Care Rabbit, Massaging Brush, Bite & Brush Teether, Training Brush, and 1st Brush, they have oral care covered from birth to toddlerhood.
My second item also comes from the MAM Oral Care Line. MAM's Oral Care teethers are designed to ease discomfort and help develop perception skills. These ergonomically designed teethers provide a safe and cool surface for babies to soothe themselves with. They are BPA, PVC, and Lead free, dishwasher safe, and safe for microwave sterilization. The line includes the Bite & Relax Phase 1 and 2, Mini Cooler, Bite & Brush, Cooler, and Bite & Play.
My third item comes from the MAM Sippy Cup Line. Each MAM cup is designed to fit baby hands for easy grasping and holding, teaching them to learn to drink from a standard glass. They are BPA, PVC, and Lead free, dishwasher safe, and use patented spill proof spouts. The Sippy Cup line contains Starter Cups in in 5 oz size, Trainer Cups in an 8 oz size, Learn to Drink Cup-soft spout in a 6 oz size, Learn to Drink Cup-Hard Spout in a 9 oz size, and Sports Cup in an 11 oz size.
Our package from MAM has arrived!
I let Baby C get in on some opening.
She was excited to see what was inside.
What is this stuff?
Our first item is the MAM Training Brush, which is geared for babies 6 months and up.
The brush is a three part system. The top of the brush has a small round head with soft bristles. This is perfect for a baby's mouth to adapt to and begin learning what a brush feels like, while helping to remove plaque and bacteria. There is also a small red section on the bristles that guides how much toothpaste is appropriate. The second part is the handle complete with non slip material for easy holding. The handle is long enough for both parents and baby to hold and use together. The third part is the bottom rounded tongue cleaner. It is shaped to help clean the tongue with a light texture and also be comforting to new teeth in a chewing or rubbing motion. Baby C's favorite part is chewing on the tongue cleaner, I think it must feel amazing on her gums because that is the first thing she goes for when we hand it to her.
The MAM Training Brush retails for $5.99.
Our second item is the MAM Mini Cooler & Clip, which is geared for babies 2 months and up.
The Mini Cooler & Clip is the perfect solution for soothing the gums when new teeth are coming in. The Mini Cooler has a unique design that is a great choice for babies as young as 2 months to find relief. The top of the cooler is filled with distilled water and meant to be placed in a fridge for extra soothing power or used room temperature while baby bites down or chews on the textured piece. The design allows for only the water filled piece to become chilled while the rest stays warm for holding comfort. The ring part of the cooler is lightweight and curved so even small babies can grasp it. The bottom part of the Mini Cooler is a clip that is Velcro attached to the ring and will easily clip to baby's clothing. This makes the cooler stay within reach and safely clipped to keep it clean. Baby C loves chomping on the textured surfaces of the cooler, most of the time we use it room temperature, but on some warmer days we have thrown it into the fridge to help keep her cool too.
The MAM Mini Cooler & Clip retails for $6.99
The third item is the MAM Learn to Drink Cup, geared for babies 6 months and up.
This is my favorite of the three MAM products we received. Baby C is transitioning well from breast to training cup because she has some great cups to help her out. The cup is nice from top to bottom, with the top featuring a soft spout that is gentle for their mouth. It also has a nice, tight lid to keep the spout clean when not in use. The valve inside is also a non-spill, no drip type (it has been good so far). The middle of the cup is a slimmer shape for an easy grip from little hands and the cup is lightweight for baby to hold themselves. This cup holds 6 ounces of liquid, perfect for what baby should be drinking for a transition phase.
The MAM Learn to Drink Cup with Soft Spout retails for $6.99.
I highly recommend checking out MAM products for your baby care products. They offer an awesome oral care line that has such an assortment of styles to fit any of your needs. Their bottle and sippy cup line is pretty great too.
