Fireman Sam Season 1 Launches on Amazon Today with Additional Content and Product

NEW YORK, June 3, 2014—HIT Entertainment, one of the world’s leading preschool entertainment companies and a division of Fisher-Price, today announced that Amazon will be the exclusive U.S. home to the popular preschool franchise Fireman Sam®. Fireman Sam Season 1 (13 episodes) will be available to stream or download in Amazon Instant Video, Prime Instant Video, and FreeTime Unlimited. To celebrate the launch, Amazon is offering a free episode of Fireman Sam.
In addition to TV episodes, Fireman Sam eBooks will also be available for the first time in the US starting today. Physical products from apparel to toys to lunch boxes, all of which will be available with fast, free shipping and free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime will debut later this year.

We are no strangers to Fireman Sam in our house. We actually discovered Fireman Sam when browsing for children's shows on one of our video streaming platforms, a little over a year ago. All it took was one Fireman Sam episode, and my little hero was hooked! We were so excited when we were given the opportunity to preview a couple of new Fireman Sam episodes, from the collection available on Amazon!

'Mommy, let's watch it!'
We settled in to watch Sam and his friends, as they proved themselves to be excellent heroes. If B had to pick a favorite, I'm sure he'd choose Sam, although we love Elvis, Penny, Tom Thomas, and Station Officer Steele, as well! We watched as Norman got himself into trouble, as usual, and sat in suspense, wondering if Sam would save the day, when Jupiter goes on a wild ride with Norman! Sam and his friends always know what to do, when someone is in trouble- whether it's a fire at the Flood's house, a false alarm at Dyllis Price's shop, a distaster at the train station, etc. We love Sam because he is such a humble hero, always happy to help and take action when needed. Sam is a great role model for children, and I know that my own little guy really looks up to the hero of Pontypandy.
