Our Thoughts...
B knows that when we receive a package like this, there's probably a DVD inside of it. He couldn't wait to see what this one would be!
'It's Leap, Tad, and Lily! Oh, boy!'
B was super duper excited to see his pals Leap, Tad, and Lily on the cover of a brand new LeapFrog Letter Factory Adventures DVD! We are giant fans of LeapFrog DVDs and products, and B really loves watching these green froggy friends on the big screen. As soon as he realized what he was holding in his hands, B was asking me to put the DVD on for him to watch.
Now, B just started preschool, and is in the 3-year-old class, because of where his birthday falls. He will be four in October, and because we have used LeapFrog DVDs and learning products at home since he was just a wee little fella, he's already showing clear signs that he's a bit ahead of the curve for his age. With a little help from our LeapFrog friends, we've mastered the alphabet, counting (in numerous languages, I might add), and we're ready to work on sight words and simple math.
What a fun new learning adventure!
In 'Counting On Lemonade,' Leap, Tad, and Lily want to do something to help their library, like donate some new books, but they don't know how they'll ever be able to come up with the money tp purchase said books. With a great suggestion from their robo pal and friends, the twins apply their addition, subtraction, and counting skills to a new venture- making delicious lemonade so they can sell it, and raise money to purchase new books!
This DVD is intended for ages 4-7, though I'm sure 3 year-olds would enjoy it, and jumpstart their learning and math application in everyday life from watching this 35 minute feature. The animation is super- the whole feature is vibrant, colorful, and fun to watch (for kids and grown-ups!). B and I love to sing as we learn, so the fun songs and sing-a-longs in the DVD are a lot of fun for us! The DVD features simple addition, subtraction, and counting to 20.
DVD includes a Digital UltraViolet Copy, with easy steps for redemption.
Our family is always thrilled when a DVD includes a Digital UltraViolet copy, as well. This means that we can watch LeapFrog Letter Factory Adventures: Counting On Lemonade pretty much anywhere! We can watch it on our television, computer, tablet or smartphones! There's nothing better than being able to turn on an educational program for your kiddos when you're stuck in the car, or having to wait somewhere.
As a parent, I appreciate the curriculum commentary. This is helpful to me in trying to integrate this program into homeschool lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays (the days B doesn't go to preschool). One of the other things that I really love about LeapFrog, is that there are endless resources available through the LeapFrog Learning Path online. Just select your child's age range, and explore numerous printables, activities, videos, articles, discussions, and learning tips! Whether you're a parent, grandparent, caregiver or teacher, you can't go wrong with LeapFrog!
We are so glad to have this new LeapFrog Letter Factory Adventures DVD in our personal LeapFrog Learning Collection, and can't wait for the new learning aventures that are yet to come!
