Seafood lovers, you're in luck! Red Lobster's Endless Shrimp promotion is back, and better than ever! My family and I recently had the opportunity to visit our local Red Lobster Restaurant, and enjoy the Endless Shrimp. Now, I'm not really a seafood lover, but my mom loves most seafood, especially shrimp, so I knew who I wanted to bring along with me. My dad isn't a seafood lover either, so my mom avoids eating seafood around him, most of the time. My husband likes select seafood, and he and I have enjoyed Red Lobster's offerings and atmosphere before.

Hubby, mom, B, and I headed to Red Lobster and couldn't wait to feast on their delicious menu! We did have a bit of a wait, but the restaurant was very crowded (everyone loves Red Lobster). After we were seated, we ordered our drinks, and looked over the menu, as we nibbled on everyone's favorite Red Lobster starter- their yummy, flaky garlic biscuits!

We spent some time looking over the menu, as Red Lobster has so many tasty menu options! My mom already knew that she was going to get the endless shrimp, which included her choice of soup or salad, three types of shrimp, and a side of her choice. The Endless Shrimp menu offers six types of yummy shrimp! My mom had a hard time narrowing it down to the three she wanted to try the most. 

Her Endless Shrimp choices were:

*Sriracha Grilled Shrimp (NEW!)

Parmesan Shrimp Scampi

Hand-Breaded Shrimp

Garlic Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Linguini Alfredo

Coconut Shrimp Bites

My mom really wanted to try the Coconut Shrimp Bites, but the restaurant happened to be out of them, so she went with her other choices: Parmesan Shrimp Scampi, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. She also ordered a side of cole slaw as her salad, and seasonal asparagus (which was an additional charge, because the vegetable was seasonal).

I ordered the 4 Course Feast, which included my choice of soup, salad, entree, and dessert! Hubby ordered a Fried Clams Plate, with soup and a side, and we were pleased the the children's menu had lots of options for our picky eater, who wanted chicken tenders and french fries.

We enjoyed our soups, salads, and kept enjoying those yummy garlic biscuits while we waited for our main courses to arrive. I knew my mom was so excited for the opportunity to have some shrimp, as she doesn't eat it very often. I could say the same with hubby and his fried clams- he loves them!

It didn't take very long for our food to arrive to our table, and once it did, boy- our table was completely filled with food! That's one of the things we love about Red Lobster... they don't skimp on anything!

My mom took her time tasting and enjoying her shrimp, really savoring the flavors of each style. I asked her if the linguini was yummy, and she offered me a bite. I really don't care for shrimp (it's a texture thing), but I was brave and decided to try a bite. It really tasted delicious- non-shrimpy, even. If I could just get over the texture of the shrimp, I could probably eat a whole plate of the shrimp linguini! Mom decided that the Parmesan Shrimp Scampi was her favorite, the linguini her second favorite, and the garlic shrimp was her third favorite, though she truly loved them all, and would have loved to have been able to try the coconut shrimp bites.

B was extremely happy with his chicken and fries!

B's chicken was really very yummy. I snagged a bite of it, and thought it was super crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. He is ridiculously picky about his chicken, but he ate an entire tender and a good amount of fries, so that was a clear sign that he was happy with it. I was also pleased that Red Lobster gave him a child's cup, and not an adult cup with a way too long straw. The kid's menu kept him entertained, too- he had space to color and draw while we all talked and ate.

I knew that Sacha was happy with his meal, because it seemed to disappear before my eyes. I did taste one clam strip, and thought it was pretty yummy. Sacha said that Red Lobster does clam strips the right way, and he's picky, just like our son, so if he was happy with them, they must have been extra delicious!

I ordered the Chicken in Portobello Wine Sauce, with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. My plate came with not one, but two chicken fillets, and enough mashed potatoes and green beans to feed an army! The chicken was very yummy- it was moist, and the wine sauce was out of this world delicious! The potatoes and green beans were the perfect compliment to the chicken. I appreciate that Red Lobster has chicken and steak options for people like me, who don't particularly like seafood, but want to be able to see their family enjoy a nice seafood meal, and spend that time with them.

Everyone was extremely happy with the meal they chose at Red Lobster. Our servers and our main waiter were all incredibly friendly, and made our dining experience all the more enjoyable!

We were having so much fun laughing and eating at the Red Lobster, that we didn't realize how late it was getting. B had school the next morning, so we packed up our leftovers and headed for the door. I still couldn't believe how much food was left over from my dinner plate! I had enough for a second meal, and so did my mom. We even brought B's extra chicken home! On our way out the door, we stopped by the live lobster tank, which B thought was the coolest thing ever!

Remember those leftovers? Here they are!

I truly did have enough food left over from my meal at Red Lobster to have again for dinner the folowing night! I added a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese to my green beans, and everything was extra delicious the next day! Red Lobster sent us home with microwave safe containers, so it was super easy to reheat my meal and enjoy it a second time!

And dessert? Who could forget!

I asked our waiter to box my dessert at the restaurant. I was way too full from my meal to eat it while we were there, so I enjoyed it at home the following evening. This was the Caramel Cheesecake, and it was amazing. I savored every last bite, and no one was home with me when I ate it, so I didn't have to share it! Mommy win!
