As Fall has been quickly moving, I have updated my wardrobe to some cute new fall styles and also worked on adding to my accessories. I knew I was looking for some unique pieces that were comfortable and fashionable, while most importantly being affordable. Vanessa and I started talking about the Fall item back in August. I browsed the campaign that was currently available and found something I really liked, the Draped Lounge Jacket. Unfortunately, everyone else must have really liked it too, because it was on back order until at least the end of October. Knowing that we wouldn't be able to get the review in for our Fall Spotlight Sponsor, Vanessa made sure it was okay for me to pick something else. I was bummed, but knew there were tons of other amazing Avon options to choose from. I went back to the campaign and found this, but it was also on back order. I apparently have good taste, so my search continued and I found something that I was actually even more excited about then the first two picks.

Vanessa ordered my item and had it shipped directly to my house. I was so excited when the Avon box showed up!

The first thing out of the box was a bright pink information sheet about Avon. It gives a bit of background on the company and shares the mission of supporting breast cancer and domestic violence awareness. I also found a sample of the Anew Vitale Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 25. This cream should give instant vitality to your skin, within 3 days help offset visible effects of stress and sleep deprivation, and after 1 week a more uniform, even toned appearance to the skin.

I was a big fan of the cream. In just a small sample, I had plenty for my face. I thought the fragrance was nice, very simple, not overwhelming or overpowering. It immediately brightened my skin and left it feeling smooth and silky, not oily at all. I will make sure to look into this product a bit more, I love that Avon includes samples, what a great tool to introduce products to your customers.

I found a small white and black Avon box and a small sample of Skin So Soft lotion.

This sample bottle contains 1.7 fl oz of original scented cream. The scent is a bit unique, felt more bug sprayish, so not a fan there, but Avon also other SSS lotions, so no worries if you don't prefer the original. It also was a thinner consistency than most lotions I use, but still absorbs nicely and left my skin feeling smooth and soft.

Inside the neatly packed box, I found this, the Royal Hue Collar Necklace.

Complete with 9 blue faceted faux stones, on a gold chain, this necklace was just what I had been looking for. It measures 16.5" and also includes a 3.5" extender so it can be worn a little longer or closer to the neck depending on preference or shirt collar size.

The Royal Hue Collar Necklace retails for $19.99, a great price point and a really great necklace. I love the size of the necklace, it isn't heavy at all, and sits comfortably around my neck.

I had an easy time pairing the bright blue with a shirt I had recently found at Marshalls. They compliment each other very well and I have gotten a ton of compliments on the pairing. I have also worn it with jeans, a white tee, and brown boots for a more casual look. It is my new favorite jewelry piece and I can't get enough of it!
