Helene Jewelry Box Subscription {Review and Giveaway}

I have started to try and accessorize more when I go out and about. I had chosen not to wear too many things when B was little because he was constantly breaking my jewelry. With S I had been so used to not wearing anything I just didn't, even though she probably would have been fine. C is pretty good too, so I have decided it is time to be a little more bold in my jewelry statements.

That said, I don't own much and needed to find a way to add to my jewelry box. I started looking online at some options that would give me a large selection that was fun, stylish, and affordable. I found a company that really looked neat and reached out to them. The owner of the company contacted me back and was really excited to have read some of my other reviews and felt we would be a great fit for them.

Helene Jewelry was created by designer, Elena Schimming, as a way to offer women fun and feminine jewelry, with bright, bold colors, mixed in with a contemporary bohemian vibe. Elena loves to create and has designed women's clothing and accessories that have been showcased on runways around the world, but wanted to focus on a jewelry brand for fashion conscious shoppers. With the mind to have affordable pieces, Elena creates jewelry each season that is trendy and wearable.

Elena and I worked directly together, I think this is a huge deal. She truly is doing all she can to get her company introduced to new audiences, especially like the MBP readers. Elena was super pleasant to work with, she made sure that what I would be getting, would fit my style preferences and even checked about metal allergies. How Does Helene Jewelry Work?

Helene Jewelry is a monthly subscription service that offers some beautiful arm accessories. To get started, you must choose a "jewelry settting" of social, professional, or anywhere, so that they know where you will be primarily wearing this piece. Then you choose your "jewelry style" of trendsetter, conservative, or bohemian. Then you choose your monthly box subscription preference: 1 Month/$25 monthly, 3 Month/$23.75 monthly, 6 Month/$22.50 monthly and all include free shipping (worldwide). I think the discount makes the deal even sweeter to prepay for more months at a time. Once you have made all of your selections, you register your information and pay. Boxes will ship around the 15th of the month. Plans automatically renew but you can cancel at any time.

What Comes in a Helene Jewelry Box?

Each month, the box will include jewelry that has a retail value of $50-$125. These pieces will be perfect for your style because they have been personalized for you.

We were given the opportunity to receive and review a September box, based on my style preferences. I chose Anywhere ("I can't imagine not wearing jewelry) as my setting and Conservative (I accessorize with pieces that don't overtake my look. I like to shine but don't want the jewelry to overpower me.) as my style. I feel like these options were the most "me" and gave me a pretty comfortable idea of things that would be to my liking. I was so excited to see what I would get!

I was greeted with this lovely pink message, right inside the box. I couldn't wait to see more!

As I opened the box, I found three small information sheets. The first sheet reads "It's Arm Party Time" and told me I would be receiving the Georgie Bracelet in Grey. It also describes the bracelet and also some helpful tips (read on to find out more). The second sheet is a quick welcome letter, personalized to me, and Elena gives her feelings on the bracelet. I love this, I think this makes the choice even cooler, I can see exactly why Elena chose this bracelet (read below to see Elena's thoughts). The third sheet is a trend board with fall favorite ideas that would compliment the bracelet, I love some of the suggestions.

Now on to the goodies! I could see them peeking through the fun, scrunchy packing paper.

As I mentioned earlier, I chose the Anywhere/Conservative options and received this beautiful piece, along with a little something special.

I was so thrilled with the look of the Georgie Bracelet, it is completely my style. I also thought the bonus friendship bracelet was a really cute addition.

The Georgie Bracelet in Grey is a stretch bracelet made with genuine Labradorite beads and Lucite. It is very sparkly and shiny! This mixture of darks and lights really makes it pop. I love that it is a stretchy bracelet and doesn't require any one handed clasping, that is never fun. I love the size of the bracelet, it is not too big that it overtakes my arm, but just large enough to catch your eye.

Note: The gold plate will age naturally with wear. In order to keep it bright, you may clean it with a soft jewelry cloth. In order to extend its life, please store in a cool, dry place. Please do not use around harsh chemicals or hammers.

Elena wrote that she chose this piece because of the current trend of jewel encrusted accents. She takes those trends and turns them in to pieces like these. She likes how interesting and beautiful the bracelet it, and loves the grey with the mixture of natural stones with Lucite. She designed it to be a functional piece, sophisticated yet not overpowering, and could be worn anywhere. I have worn this piece with jeans and a tee and also with leggings and a tunic, both complimented the bracelet well. You could easily layer this bracelet with other bracelets for even more fun.

The bonus friendship bracelet completely reminded me of my younger days and sharing these types of accessories with my friends. This one is a dark and light blue string, tied with a thin gold ring. It is perfect for everyday wear.

The September Helene Jewelry Box was so perfect for my taste and style. I am really enjoying my arm candy and can easily pair it with a variety of things. Helene Jewelry is meant to be stylish, affordable, and personalized for you, and I agree it is.
