Last Minute Halloween Ideas from #AlexToys + Monster Clompers #Review

I can't believe that Halloween is almost here! It's definitely one of my favorite holidays, and B has been looking forward to Halloween since the summertime! This is this first year that B has been excited about dressing up, and joining in the Halloween festivities at school, and in our community. Last year, we did go to the Hallowen parade in our neighborhood, and we went trick-or-treating, but a tantrum ensued just minutes before we walked out the door, over B not wanting to wear his costume. I am looking forward to a much more enjoyable Halloween this year.

Though B had a costume in mind, he will have multiple opportunities to wear costumes over the course of the next couple of weeks. We're definitely looking forward to changing up his costume, and getting a bit creative. Thanks to our good friends at ALEX Toys, we had an opportunity to try out their awesome Monster Clompers, and put together a DIY Monster Costume!

After a quick demo from mommy, B was stomping like a monster all through the house! The rope handles are perfect for little ones to grab onto, and the foam handles over the ropes will keep little hands from getting rope burns or blisters. The monster clompers are a safe, fun way to work on balance and coordination, are perfect for imaginitive play time, dress up time, and make a really fun addition to a monsterrific Halloween costume!

Just a bit of common sense/advice- make sure your child is wearing shoes (preferred) or is barefoot when playing with the monster clompers. Socks will be very slippery on the foam monster feet. It's also best if an adult is there to supervise children when playing with the monster clompsers, just in case they happen to lose their balance, which may happen a few times, as they try to get the hang of the monster clompers.
