Here in Oklahoma, our weather has been kind of all over the place. One day it is 15 degrees and snowing, the next it's 70 degrees and sunny. Two weeks ago, we were bundled up wishing we had fire wood to start a fire, and this week I've had the back door open everyday! What the? What season is it? Since the weather can't make up its mind, I am having a difficult time dressing for this wacky weather. What's more is the fact that many days have been wet and cold meaning that I either have to put on some wellies or a pair of sneakers. However; there are many days when I want a shoe that is a bit more stylish than a sneaker, that is easy to put on and will keep my feet warm.
I'm a huge fan of the show 'The Doctors' and I particularly love Dr. Lisa Masterson, I was pretty sad when she left the show. Dr. Lisa is the co-founder of Therafit Shoes, shoes that were designed for women to embrace wellness. I've seen and read about Therafit many times, and have been dying to try them out. So when I actually got the chance to try them out, I may or may not have done a little dance!
I decided that I would love a pair of slip-on shoes and was ecstatic to see that Therafit carries a variety of casual slip-on shoes. I chose the Maya Women's Slip-On Shoe in Grey, sz 10. I know, I have big feet! These shoes retail for $79.00 and come with free shipping! The anticipation for the arrival of the shoes, was like a kid on Christmas morning, the excitement was overwhelming. Can you tell I LOVE shoes?!
My Therafit Shoes have arrived.
When my Therafit Maya Slip-On shoes arrived, I eagerly opened the package and was pleasantly surprised by the look of the shoes. The shoes are a light grey color with a quilted design on the top of the shoe. The trim is a gorgeous grey suede, and the inside of the shoe has a pop of blue. The Maya Slip-On offers arch support, a removable sock liner, and deep heel cups. I have very high arches which tend to cause blisters on the balls of my feet when I walk, so I love the support these offer.
I was so excited to try them on. The Maya Slip On is so cute!
The first thing I did when I took out my Therafit Shoes, was to tell my dog that he better not destroy them. He loves shoes, too! Next, I kicked off the shoes I had on and slid on the new shoes. Wow, the removable sock liner, amazing. It's like walking on a cloud, and the arch support is better than any tennis shoe I've ever worn. They slide on and off easily, I could see this saving a busy Mom lots of time!
I love the quilted pattern on the top of the shoe.
And the sock liner's design is adorable!
I wore my shoes all day while running errands and I must admit, I was a little nervous that I would have blisters by the end of the day covering my feet. After hours on my feet, running to several places, my feet actually felt refreshed. There were no blisters, no aching arches, and no pain in the balls of my feet. I couldn't believe my feet weren't throbbing from all the walking I did. But it really shouldn't have surprised me, Therafit's shoes offer several layers and different densities of cushioning and support so your weight is evenly distributed.
The ovals on the side are the dual-density adapters.
Something that is great about Therafit is their shoes are completely customizable. What I mean by that is there are three dual-density adapters that can easily be removed to customize cushioning and resistance. It's kind of cool that you can removed a part of your shoe and immediately notice a difference in resistance. Occasionally when I am out for long periods of time, I remove one of the adapters, but most of the time I keep all three in place. They are easy to remove and put back in place, just push and they pop in and out.
I was getting ready to take down the Halloween decorations, two weeks before Thanksgiving!
I've been wearing my Maya Slip-On Shoes almost everyday since receiving them. They are very comfortable and go with so many of my outfits. You can wear them to walk around the neighborhood, or you can wear them with a denim skirt. However you decide, you won't be disappointed. I know I'm not. I get many compliments when I wear them, and I have forced a few friends to try them on. They were thanking me for it!
Slipping on my Maya Slip on shoes to head out to the store.
