It's Saturday and as you are reading this, Matt and I are on our way to New York City with my sister and brother in law. The girls have gone with their Grandparents and we are heading to Madame Tussauds New York to check out their new Jimmy Fallon figure!

If you are familiar enough with the blog, you know that usually our weekends are spent having "date nights" with the girls and pretty much trying to pack as much family fun as possible into 2 days. While I love our time with the girls, I realize it's also important that I spend alone time with my husband. It helps keep our marriage strong and it models a healthy and loving relationship for the girls. It also helps my sanity! I mean, what person doesn't long for adult conversation after binge-watching the Disney Channel with a 3 year old and having in-depth discussions of 2nd grade happenings with a 7 year old on an almost daily basis?
