High Style Profile: Sosh 5 Boutique

Thank you to Sosh 5 Boutique for providing me with gorgeous fashion pieces in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

During the summertime, I lean toward simple, effortless style. It's always so hot and humid here in the south, and let me tell you- it's just not something that I enjoy. I used to joke around, claiming that I loved my fall and winter clothing and accessories more than my spring and summer pieces, simply because I dislike wearing shorts. With the way the fashion trends have been going lately, I no longer wish for summer to be over in the blink of an eye, and actually look forward to warmer weather (I could still leave the humidity, though!).

Sosh 5 Boutique

When I find a boutique or shop that not only offers gorgeous apparel and accessories, but offers gorgeous prices to match, I feel as though it is my responsibility to tell the whole world about it. I'm no stranger to being complimented on my outfits, and love to respond with, 'Thank you so much- I receive this from (shop name here). When I happened upon Sosh 5 Boutique a few weeks ago, I was looking for simple pieces for summertime that would be easy to wear, and versatile for the dog days of summer.

Sosh 5 was created by two sisters looking for a way to motivate and inspire women. We encourage women to be their own kind of beautiful using fashion to express themselves. No matter what body shape you are, we find a variety of styles to accentuate your best features. The name Sosh 5 symbolizes our first love, being moms. It is our initials along with our number of children. We, the co-founders Stephani Holmes and Shawna Ohde, hope you discover your own kind of beautiful!

I felt connected with the girls at Sosh 5, because my sister and I share a similar love for fashion. Growing up, our favorite game was 'The Look for Less,' where we'd try to re-create designer looks for bottom dollar! Stephani and Shawna offered to send me a few fabulous pieces to try out for myself this summer, and I have been having a blast with them!

My fashion pieces from Sosh 5 arrived, all wrapped up in glittery tissue paper.

As I peeled back the tissue paper, vibrant colors and patterns were revealed, along with a handwritten note from the girls at Sosh 5.

All of these pieces looked very promising, but the gorgeous statement necklace really stood out to me, and I simply couldn't wait to wear it!

I received a beautiful statement necklace, a strapless maxi dress, and a vibrant maxi skirt. I wasn't sure what to wear first! The necklace called out to me, so I enjoyed wearing at home a few times before it even made its big debut in public!

Blue is one of my favorite colors, and I tend to wear a lot of it in the fall and winter. I paired both the statement necklace and the gorgeous blue maxi skirt with a simple royal blue t-shirt that I already had in my closet, and then added sandals and a white open cardigan to create a complete look. The necklace is so beautiful, and when paired with the skirt, it really brought the entire outfit together. When I wore this outfit to church one Sunday, I received so many compliments- on both pieces, and several ladies commented on how beautiful the necklace and skirt went together (couldn't have planned that better, myself!).

How I wore it:
Top- H & M
Skirt- Sosh 5 Boutique
Necklace- Sosh 5 Boutique
Cardigan- Rue 21

The outfit was so perfect for a summery, casual, yet well-put together look!

I also received a stunning grey and white strapless maxi dress!

How I wore it-
Dress: Sosh 5
Cardi- Forever 21
Sandals- Target

I am actually terrified of strapless dresses. I have very little in the bust department, so there isn't a whole lot there to hold a strapless dress up. The fit was okay, but I wasn't comfortable wearing it without covering up a little bit (what can I say, I'm pretty modest). Maxi dresses are always a tad too long on me, and would look better with wedges, I'm sure (wedges scare me, too!).

What I loved about this dress, was that is was very lightweight and comfortable. There were even hidden pockets on the sides! I normally don't like dresses with pockets, because I feel that they add extra bulk to the hips, but that was not the case with this dress, thankfully. I felt so lovely in this summertime dress, and plan to wear it again soon!
