Splash Into Summer Fun with Green Toys Mini Sport Boats #GreenToysInc #Review + #Giveaway

Summer is rolling on by! It's so hard for me to believe that one month of summer vacation has already disappeared. We have a few more weeks until our next summer trip, so I am doing everything I can think of to keep my little guy busy at home. We enjoyed our summer trip to the beach at the beginning of beach season, and it's always kind of a let-down to come back home, after a week of enjoying the sea, sand, and sunshine. B has always been a little water baby, so I wasn't surprised when he asked us to create a 'backyard beach' for him at home.

In order to enjoy a backyard beach, you need some pretty awesome toys, and water, of course...sand helps, too. Being outside always makes us appreciate our planet a bit more, enjoying all that it has to offer. We do our part to take good care of the Earth, including recycling, and planting trees and flowers. We love sharing about companies that are on a mission to do the same.

We think Green Toys are fantastic & over the past couple of years, B has accumulated quite the Green Toys collection. We have had the pleasure of featuring the Sea Plane, and Ferry Boat. Green Toys recently rolled out some wonderful new additions to their product line, and we were very excited to be among some of the first folks to check out the new Sport Boats!

B was extra excited to open up the package from Green Toys. He had a suspicion that the contents of the box were for him!

Look what we found!

B realized that these boats belonged with his other Green Toys, right away. He also noticed the different words on the packages, and asked what types of boats they were. We were pleased to find two of the new Sport Boats by Green Toys in our special package- one blue, and the other orange. B loves both of these colors, so he was thrilled.

One of the things that I love most about the packaging of Green Toys, is that they use as little plastic as possible. The front of the box (display window) is open- you can reach in and touch the toy before you buy it. The toys are secured to the package by strong paper ties. Green Toys are also made from 100% recycled plastic. Now that's something I can get on board with. Green Toys are incredibly durable. Ours have been to the beach and back a few times. We have specific Green Toys that we play with in the tub, in the backyard pool, and others in the sandbox. B must think that destruction is his middle name, as lately, he has been breaking toys right and left. I am so happy to share that Green Toys are tough-kid friendly, as well as eco-friendly!

Racers, take your marks!

Each Sport Boat came with its own little duck captain. Be was very concerned about mixing them up. We put a tiny blue dot on the bottom of the duck that came with the blue boat to ease his anxiety. The little duck captains have already sailed some pretty stormy seas, and I commend them for their bravery.

These ducks are ready to roll out... or float on, I should say.

B had a ton of fun racing the sport boats down his little slide, into the wading pool, while dragging tons of grass into the water.

The sport boats float well, and sort of drift about on their own, which B thought was cool. This meant he could let one boat do its thing, and then chase it with the other boat.

Duck Captain overboard!

We have had a few rescue missions as far as the duck captains are concerned, and we had to send the sea plane and ferry out to rescue them. The other neat thing about the sport boats, is that the tops come off, and can be mixed and matched with the bottoms- so you can create your own look! Of course, my child is so particular that he insisted the tops and bottoms had to match, so we didn't switch them around while we played.
