Tidewater Sandals Are Always in Style #Review + #Giveaway

In 1992, my family moved to NC from NJ. We went through a bit of a culture shock at first, but eventually, we came to love this beautiful state we have now called 'home' for more than twenty years. The accents are different, I still pronounce some words in a different way, and still get that, 'You're not from around here, are you?' question. Though I wasn't born in the south, I do sort of consider myself from being around these parts at this point. I have adopted a lot of southern 'loves', such as BBQ (pulled pork, by the way- not a cookout, which is what we call a BBQ up north), love for the beach instead of the shore, and a great love for wearing sandals through every season of the year (unless it's so cold that your toes might fall off, and maybe sometimes even then).

Tidewater knows a few things about love for comfy, casual, great-looking sandals. In the south, sandals never go out of style, no matter the season. Tidewater is based in Winston-Salem, NC- not too far from where I live. Tidewater aims to bring forth beautiful, comfortable sandals for everyday living and beyond. I love sandals, but I have to say that I have had some unfortunate incidents when wearing sandals in the past (meaning I have slipped and landed on my rear more times than I can count). I am of the opinion that sandals can sometimes be sort of dangerous, so I look for designs that are not only stylish and comfortable, but safe to wear, as well.

I was in deep like with all of the adorable women's sandals I received. I didn't know which pair to wear first! I appreciated that I was sent a variety of styles and colors that I could dress up or down, according to my style mood. I tend to dress pretty casually during the summer, because I am ever active with my four-year-old, who loves to play outside, hit the pool, etc.

I love Tidewater's flip flops! They have so many cute styles and designs for men, and women. The flip flops are much thicker than your traditional flip flop, which I really like. Tidewater flip flops offer a fully cushioned foot bed with arch support, which is wonderful for people like me, who may have joint issues. These flip flops keep you comfortable, whether you're out on a summertime adventure with the family, out running errands, or hitting the beach! I think it's so much fun to mix and match these flip flops with different outfits. They certainly promote a fun summer attitude. I have one pair of Tidewater flip flops reserved for the beach, and the others are my go-to flip flops to put on at home, or slip into if I need to run out for a while. They look great with boot cut jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses!

I really don't like to play favorites with my footwear, but I have to say that I love these Ingleside Shells Sandals from Tidewater!

Received the Ingelside Shells Sandals right before our family headed to the beach, and I was blown away by how classy and elegant they looked. In my family, if you're a beach lover (which I am- I would move to the beach this minute if I had a reason to), you shout it loudly, and proudly. I was so psyched to be able to wear the Ingleside Shell Sandals on our way down to the beach with a cute top and travel skirt, and then to wear them out and about when we had a rainy day and wanted some Fro Yo! I know I said I didn't want to play favorites here, but if I had to choose just one style out of the five that were sent to me, I would choose these pretties... the Vilas Gold Sandals.

These sandals bring with them comfort and beauty. I wasn't sure if I would like the Vilas Gold Sandals at first glance, but once I slipped into these beauties, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that they would become my new favorite sandals. I love their unique design. The thin, double t-strap is so fun, and the white and gold strap across the top of the foot is just so preppy and fun! It has a seersucker look and feel, and makes my feet feel like they are wrapped in a pretty bow! I loved wearing these when we were out for a day of shopping at the beach, and definitely noticed a few heads turning to get a second glance at the Vilas Gold Sandals.

When home from our beach trip, I noticed the Vilas Gold Sandals from Tidewater in a window display at a local downtown boutique, and I proudly thought, 'Oh, how cool- I have those!'. These sandals are gorgeous, and they look so cute with shorts, with a sun dress, or a maxi skirt!
