In these last lazy days of summer, I am craving easy, breezy style. Just because I'm a mom, and have a busy little dude to keep up with, doesn't mean that I want to sacrifice my personal style. In my town, we don't have many options when it comes to women's fashion, which is why I look online for a lot of the pieces I tend to gravitate toward- boutique style.
Not long ago, I stumbled across Lotus Boutique, which began its journey back in 1995, with its first brick and mortar store. Today, Lotus Boutique has eight physical stores (in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama), and operates a thriving online boutique, as well. Lotus offers beautiful, affordable apparel and accessories for women, and serves many style niches-from preppy to boho! Lotus has been flooding the southeast with their affordable style for over a decade, and it's not hard to see why they're thriving, after visiting their online boutique, and taking a look around!
I had the pleasure of connecting with Lalonie, president of Lotus Boutique. Lolanie offered to send me a few pieces of apparel from Lotus, which I will be sharing in a number of style posts over the coming weeks. I had so much fun pouring over the Lotus Boutique website. It felt like Christmas morning when I opened up my package from Lotus Boutique. Not only did I receive pretty apparel pieces, I also received koozies, temporary tattoos, and earrings! I had no idea which piece I wanted to wear first- there were so many options! I started thinking about the timing, and wanted to start my Lotus journey with something pretty, and flowy. I love the Boho Chic look- it's so beautiful, and effortless. When I saw the Red Tones Medallion Print Boho Dress at Lotus Boutique, I fell head over heels in love with it!

I couldn't wait to wear this dress. I chose to wear it to church last Sunday, and loved it so much that I practically stayed in the dress all day! Since the dress was so gorgeous on its own, I didn't add many accessories... just shoes, earrings, and a handbag.

I received a high number of compliments on this dress. I felt beautiful in it, sort of like a butterfly, which was very fitting for me, as I led worship with the worship team at my church on Sunday. I was able to move freely, and comfortably. The dress that I received was a size S/M, and it was a bit loose for my liking, but it's nothing that I can't get used to. One of the best things about this dress, is that it came with a tank dress, in white. I have already paired the tank dress with other dresses- it's a wardrobe staple, and I can't believe I didn't have one before!
Beautiful Boho Style for Summertime
This dress is a winner in my book. It has absolute style, and fashion flair. If you're wanting to branch out of your fashion comfort zone and go Boho Chic, this is the way to do it. Start with a pretty frock, such as this gorgeous, flowy dress, and you'll experience the ease of Boho style. I can't wait to wear this dress again. I plan on taking it along on vacation, and wearing it for a day out in NYC! It's a perfect day dress, party dress, or night out dress- take your pick!
Mom style...
My style choices can't keep me from being able to keep up with my son. Comfort is key for me, as my adorable little man isn't always easy to catch up with! I felt fully comfortable in my beautiful Boho dress from Lotus Boutique. This is a dress that I would wear all day- for a casual day out and about, to a luncheon, bridal shower, or for a special occasion. The dress is machine washable, and can be laid flat to dry. I am all for anything that can be washed in the washing machine!
