MBP's 2015- 2016 Maternity & Newborn Guide

Well, I am officially entering the second trimester of my pregnancy. Needless to say, I am rejoicing! I have been pretty sick off and on, and have been exhausted for weeks on end. This pregnancy is already a lot different than when I was pregnant with B- over five years ago. Now that I am past the yucky stuff, and am feeling human once again, I am becoming very excited about maternity and baby products and gear. So much has changed in the past five years, and now that hubby and I are ready to do it all again, we've got some catching up to do. 

When it comes to diaper bags, the choices out there can be pretty overwhelming. I had several different bags when B was an infant, and all of them wound up being flawed in one way or another. I don't want to be weighed down with lots of other bags shoved into the diaper bag- that just doesn't make sense. Not only were the bags I used flawed and impractical, they were bulky, and definitely looked like diaper bags.

I love that the designers at Timi & Leslie have literally thought of everything when it comes to what a mom might want in her diaper bag! From storage to extras, these bags have it all! Not to mention, the bags are so beautiful, and can be used as a diaper bag, handbag, travel bag, etc- for years beyond your child's infancy.

One of the biggest pains for us when B was a baby, was having to tote along an extra bag to keep a bottle warm or cool. I felt like we couldn't leave the house without having two or three bags, plus my purse! It was insane! This bottle storage bag fits standard sized bottles or sippy cups, and is fully insulated, with a zip closure. It has a clip at the top, which can be clipped to the inside or outside of the bag, or clipped onto a stroller.

A smaller coordinating bag is included for mom!

I hated having to lug a diaper bag, and another large handbag with me when B was little- especially when we were at church, and I needed to leave the diaper bag in the nursery, along with B. This cute, smaller bag allows moms to leave the diaper bag with a care giver, and still have a place to store their credit cards, ID, and other necessities. There's also plenty of room for a phone in there!

Perhaps the smartest accessory that comes with Timi & Leslie Bags, is the included changing mat!

The changing mat is a fold up mat, and includes a mesh pocket on the outside, to hold diapers and wipes.

The mat is lightweight, comfortable, and can be wiped down easily.

The changing mat tucks right inside of the large interior pocket of the Madison Bag. We had a couple of changing mats when B was tiny, and they were so bulky! I disliked lugging them around all the time, and wish that we could have had something as practical as this!

The other super clever addition to the bag, is a compact wet bag.

How many times were we caught out somewhere when B soiled his baby clothes, and we had nothing to toss them into? Too many to count- that's how many! With this thin, yet protective and washable bag, we won't have to worry about that with Bean. What a great idea! We do have another wet bag, but it's large and takes up a lot of room. I love that I can just fold this one over, tuck it inside of the Madison bag, and go, go, go!
