With my belly expanding by the day, my skin is definitely changing. This is my second pregnancy, so my skin has already experienced the joys of pre-mommy-hood. This time around, however, the bulk of my pregnancy is falling in fall/winter months, and I am dealing with some seriously dry and itchy skin. Your skin undergoes a lot of changes when you're pregnant- stretching out, making room for your precious baby. It's important to properly care for your skin during this time, to ensure that your post-pregnancy skin bounces back beautifully.
With Boppy's nourishing skincare collection for moms. Boppy Bloom Skincare Collection is hypoallergenic, paraben-free and phthalate-free, and great for pampering moms before, during or after pregnancy!
Three of the four new Boppy Bloom Skin Care products.
There are four new products that help moms-to-be and nursing mamas with their pre- and post-natal skincare needs all save their skin — buy one or all four! I was excited to receive a set of these wonderful products, and couldn't wait to try them out! I was already a fan of Boppy (I loved their Boppy Pillow when I was nursing B) and was eager to see how their body products stacked up against some of the rest.
Boppy Stretch Mark Cream in White Citrus Shea.
Having a good stretch mark cream during and after pregnancy is important. I didn't really faithfully use a stretch mark cream when I was pregnant with B- I waited until after he arrived to start worrying about stretch marks. While I didn't wind up with a lot of stretch marks, I do have some faint ones, and I regret not taking precautions before he was born to protect my skin. The Boppy Stretch Mark Cream is so nice. It glides on smoothly, and smells so good! It offers superior skin protection and is perfect for use before, during, and after pregnancy. I am already using it 2-3 times a week and plan to continue to use it well after S is born.
Boppy Bloom Breast Balm
The idea of talking about breasts may seem taboo, but in reality, to a new mom, it becomes an everyday conversation. When I was new to breastfeeding, I had no idea how sore my breasts would be. If you've had a baby and have gone through breastfeeding, you'll know what I'm talking about. Every new mom needs a good breast balm- whether they plan to nurse their babies or not. Post-pregnancy breasts become sore and engorged and need soothing. For moms who are nursing, they can become chapped or cracked- not fun! Breasts also become sore during the first few months of pregnancy, and can begin to become sore again later in the pregnancy. Boppy's Breast Balm is nice and light- it's lanolin-free, and 100% natural and hypoallergenic. This is so wonderful, especially if you are planning on breastfeeding. I have already tested this balm out, and love how smooth and gentle it is. I know I am going to rely on it heavily after S is born, and as we share sweet snuggles at feeding time.
Boppy Bloom Whipped Belly Butter
The Whipped Belly Butter is probably my favorite out of all of these wonderful Boppy Bloom products. This is a moisture-rich belly butter, which is just beautifully thick and creamy, and smells so wonderfully! This body butter is perfect for anyone- pregnant or not! My belly is so itchy at the end of the day after I remove my full panel maternity pants. I love this whipped belly butter, and love smoothing it on over my skin. It's sort of sweet to just sort of gently massage the belly butter onto my belly, as it makes me feel closer to Baby S. Sometimes my hubby will even offer to massage my belly, which I think is sweet, and it helps him feel connected to S, as well. The whipped belly butter glides on smoothly. It's a thick formula, but it feels like water when it's rubbed into the skin. It's totally absorbed, and doesn't leave the skin sticky or greasy. It has stretch mark prevention, and can also be used elsewhere- like on the thighs.
Check out how thick and creamy this belly butter is! I love it!
Try the Whipped Belly Butter to prevent stretch marks before they happen or the Soothing Breast Balm to help provide relief from sore or cracked nipples after nursing. Rejuvenate skin with the non-greasy Renewing Body Oil with a lovely White Citrus Shea scent or try the Stretch Mark Cream, a moisture-rich blend of coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin E.
Plus, all of these products are under $15! At that price, it's the least you can do for the hard-working mother in your life. Help her pamper herself with Boppy Bloom Skincare.
My ever-growing bump, feeling soft and smooth, thanks to Boppy Bloom.
