Celebrate #NationalCraftMonth Check Out Build with Stickers Kits from #Squirrel King !

Did you know that March is National Craft Month? Both of my girls love anything to do with crafts and recently we were able to work with Squirrel King, checking out their Build with Stickers Craft Kits.

The Squirrel King line actually began with a digital series and soon grew to include craft kits that are eco-friendly, inspire creativity, and offer STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) oriented fun!

We received the "Project: Green Thumb", "Project:Speed Racer", and "Project: Sun Lounge" kits and the girls could hardly wait to get started! These kits are geared toward kids ages 8+, which meant there was a little finagling to be done to get Reese (3) involved. She was just happy to be assisting Drew, the builder. So, in addition to learning some pretty neat science stuff, both girls are continuing to build their bond and their teamwork skills.

Because each project requires a little bit of time (and then a little more when there is a younger sister in the mix), we were only able to complete the Speed Racer so far. I thought the idea of using stickers and a few other items was pretty great, but my absolute favorite thing about these kits was the lack of mess, since there is NO GLUE involved! Of course, we were also pretty keen on the fact that these little kits packed lots of learning opportunities.

We've been having a great time so far with these kits. I'm really looking forward to watching the girls work together to complete the other projects. We are planning on buying the Craft Kit Forest Pack so that the girls can create squirrel friends to use with the Speed Racer they've built (and the Sun Lounge and Green Thumb sets, once they are complete of course).
