Thank You EZ♥PZ Mixes For Providing Me Product, Free of Charge, In Exchange For My Honest Review. All Thoughts and Opinions Shared Below are My Own! |
Last Friday was the official start of April vacation for D and we celebrated by baking a Strawberry Lemonade Layer Cake from EZ♥PZ Mixes.
Our Little Bakers Prepared to Get to Baking in Their Aprons |
EZ♥PZ Mixes offers everything one would need to make delicious treats, like cake and brownies, including the kid-sized baking tools! Both of my girls have been helping in the kitchen since they were old enough to stand, but these mixes and tools made it so they could do most of the work on their own. The only thing they weren't allowed to do on their own was put stuff in or take stuff out of the oven.
It's easy (or should I say EZ?) to see that EZ♥PZ mixes were "created for little bakers who aren't quite ready to go it alone".

We received a great kit, complete with bowls, plastic mixing and measuring tools, mini cake pans, an apron (the girls wore aprons they already had to avoid fighting over the one included), and of course the box of cake ingredients(cake mix, frosting mix, and sprinkles). I loved that everything was the perfect size for little hands. EZ♥PZ is suggested for young bakers ages 6 and up, but both Drew (8) and Reese (4) were able to participate in this cooking activity with ease!
So, besides not having to use one of those light bulb powered baking toys (and we do have one, that we love), I think my favorite part of watching my girls make this cake is how much they enjoyed being able to do so much of it on their own. I know it made them feel a little more "grown up" and as much as I dread the thought of them growing up, I love being able to watch as it happens!
