I absolutely LOVE the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. We live right outside of Chicago, and it takes about 3 hours to get there.... but it is so worth the drive <3

This Awesome Hot Wheel was there to advertise the upcoming exhibit. My son desperately wants to go back to check it out!!

The family favorite is back—Hot Wheels™: Race to Win™ returned on May 14. Buckle up and race with the most famous toy vehicles on the planet—Hot Wheels! Be part of a dynamic race team working together to build and test the world’s fastest (and safest) speed machines, using Hot Wheels® diecast cars to experiment and play. This behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing investigates the scientific process for designing super-fast cars. Hands-on experiences, authentic race gear, and captivating memorabilia will engage families in the process of experimenting with speed, power, and performance using Hot Wheels cars and track as the their tools.

And—for a limited time, we will feature four historic Indy 500 cars on loan from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, including a 1994 Valvoline/Cummins Lola driven by Robby Gordon, as well as cars from 1938, 1956, and 1972.

The super fun 140 foot Chocolate Slide. The kids went down this several times. Both Kids and adults can enjoy this fun!!

While MK played in the life sized doll house area. The top floor of the museum is full of games, giant sized houses, and.......

A CAROUSEL!!!! Each ride around is just $1!

This was in the Power of Children Exhibit. This Exhibit features the stories of Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, and Ryan White. While it was a bit over my 2 little ones heads... my 12 year old could have stayed in there forever learning about the history of these children and what they did and lived through to become historical figures.

This is the area for ages 5 and under. These 2 were in HEAVEN! Everything is hands on, and SO MUCH FUN!!!

There is a giant water table....

And all 3 got in on the action of the Sand Table =)

And then, we went to CHINA!!

They learned to write Chinese Calligraphy. This was a huge highlight of the trip! They both thought this was beyond awesome!

Then we traveled into the sewers and hung with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!!

They learned to skateboard...

and how to climb though this booby trap!

This is a view of the Dinosphere. It is in the lower level of the museum. You can hear the footsteps of the dinos, the sky changes colors, and every now and again, a thunderstorm happens right there indoors! no rain of course, just the sounds! it is so super cool!!!

We also learned about Cyborgs and Androids... and what a better example than Iron Man. There were others there... but I don't want to ruin the surprise ;)

One of their other favorite things they did... they went on a pretend deep sea adventure!!!

The Museum is FILLED with adventures and exhibits. If you will be in the Indianapolis area, CHECK THEM OUT!!! Your kids will be SO happy you did!
