How we came to be

Just like you, we wanted the best for our family but we couldn't find it.....

When Lemongrass Spa Founder, Heidi, was pregnant with her daughter she began reading labels on her skincare, makeup and bath products and realized there were many toxins in everything she was using. On a mission to find safer products she started creating her own bath crystals and tub teas. She and a friend hosted a girls night out and showed women how to make their own natural bath crystals. It was that fun-filled evening that inspired Heidi to create more products and eventually provide spa experiences for women across the county.

Since our humble beginnings Heidi and her mother, Karen, worked together to create products in Heidi's basement when the company first got started in the small mountain town of Bailey, Colorado. Soon thereafter, Heidi’s husband, Bryan, quit his IT job to oversee software, accounting and commissions. In 2007, Lemongrass Spa moved out of the garage to a manufacturing and distribution center in Pine, Colorado, where our home office still operates. In August 2014, a second manufacturing and distribution center opened in Tarpon Springs, Florida. With manufacturing and distribution centers in both states, we are able to efficiently manufacture and ship to thousands of amazing Lemongrass Spa Consultants and customers across the Country!

I am a sucker for home parties, but had never heard of Lemongrass Spa! So I was excited to see what it was all about!

Sue taught me so much about Lemongrass Spa!! The company is 97-100% Natural, not just natural base like a lot of companies!

They are gluten free, vegan friendly, non- gmo, we don't test on animals, AND debt free.

What is all the natural goodness in our products anyway?

Right from the beginning we start with the best ingredients that we hand select for their high quality and effectiveness. Our ingredients include:

Organically grown, steam distilled pure essential oils such as lavender, tea tree, peppermint, spearmint, sandalwood & lemongrass
Natural colorants such as beet juice powder and carrot juice
Therapeutic and hydrating aloe vera, shea butter, mango butter, olive oil, jojoba oil, olive butter, apricot kernel oil and almond oil for healthier skin
Fruit extracts such as pomegranate, raspberry seed and cucumber
Sugar, oatmeal, Dead Sea salt and other ingredients that are so natural you could eat them!

Since I knew NOTHING about Lemongrass, Sue suggested that I tried the Body Polish. It is one of their top sellers. Most of them are sugar base & a couple of them are sea salt based. They both exfoliate & moisturize at the same time. You keep rubbing until the sugar or salt is dissolved then rinse.

Pomegranate Body Polish

Give your skin a healthy glow with our oil-rich body polish. Pomegranate seed extract infused body polish is perfect for exfoliating dry areas such as feet and elbows. Use in the shower or bath to shave your legs! Blend of sugar, almond oil, mango butter and a fresh pomegranate fragrance. 8 ounce jar.

Ingredients: White Sugar, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Powdered Sugar, Raspberry Seed Oil, Raspberry Fruit Fiber, Pomegranate Seed Extract, Fragrance Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Vitamin E Oil, Red Beet Juice Powder (for color).

First of all, the smell. Oh the smell.... SOOOOOOOO good!

I hate feet... I mean HATE feet.... so there is no chance in China you are going to get a before and after picture out of me.... but HOLY WOW!!!!!!! After just a couple uses my feet feel AMAZING!

Now Sue told me she uses this neck down once a week for an entire body base of moisturizing. I have been simply using it on my feet only. My feet were so dry and in desperate need of attention. The body polish is a very gritty texture. It rubs in so softly though and did not leave a greasy feeling what-so-ever and washes away very nicely. I do believe this is a product I will need in my shower at ALL TIMES moving forward.
