Summer is in full swing, and thought it's been sunny, and hot, we've had it made in the shade! When I starte planning for a vacation, which entailed a 12+ hour road trip from NC to NJ with our 5-year-old and 3-month-old (was I out of my mind!?), I knew there would be some must-have items to take along for our son. Packing was no easy task. I basically nurse the baby all day long, so finding the time to pack for two adults, a soon-to-be kindergartener, and a baby was by far one of the most diffucult things I have done this summer.

When packing for big trips, it helps me if I make a checklist for each member of the family. I jot down the necessities for each one of us, and begin to lay those items out, person by person, so they can be organized. I sometimes use a process of elimination to ditch some un-needed things at the last minute. Since we would be in the car, and walking around a lot once we reached out destination, I knew everyone would need a good pair of sunglasses.

I love that the Babiators came in their own little box, and with an info card. I love to read up on products we receive, but I don't want to have to hunt for it, and often times don't have the extra time to go hunting for that info on a website. Babiators included all of the important info on a postcard, and right on the box!

I can't tell you how many pairs of children's sunglasses I have purchased through the years which have wound up broken or misplaced. Most of them weren't cheap! B has a bad habit of leaving his sunglasses in other people's cars (grandma's or grammy/papa's) and then they are never seen again. From Batman to TMNT, we've managed to lose them all! B almost always complains that his sunglasses slide off of his face, if he looks downward while wearing them. The Babiators actually fit around the ears, and won't fall off. This is great for toddlers and older kids, alike.

These Original Babiators are the original design, and they are designed to fit ages 3 - 7 yrs! How awesome is it that you can buy one pair of sunglasses that will lat your kid 4 years!? They fit their faces and won't slide off. Plus- you can bend these, step on them, twist them, etc- and they won't break. I don't know about your kid(s), but my boy is really rough on stuff, so the fact that he can be rough on these and they won't break, is pretty cool! B absolutely loves his Babiators. He thinks the color is awesome, and he loves wearing these everywhere we go. They kept his eyes protected while we were on our road trip, while walking around NYC, and on all of our other adventures we had in NJ!
