What's not to love about summer vacation? The kiddos are out of school, and we're able to spend lots of family time together. I love being with my kids, whether we're hanging out at home, or hitting the road as a family. We recently took a family roadtrip to NJ, and when we came back, I was exhausted. Fifteen hours riding back in the car with a screaming three-month-old (and vey patient five-year-old) was not the trip we envisioned. I felt like I needed a vacation from that vacation- or at the very least, a little mental break.

I was pleased to see a lovely package waiting for me from Lilly Pilly Baby, a natural and organic boutique for baby and mom.

Lilly Pilly Baby is based in Florida, and offers a wonderful variety of unique, natural products for babies and moms. I fell in love with natural and organic baby products when B was a baby. I never knew there was such a big difference in baby products, until I discovered natural & organic products. Using them made such a difference with B, who had sensitive skin. We want the best for our babies (and ourselves), and providing our loved ones with excellent products is a wonderful way to show how much we care.

I received a beautiful gift box from Lilly Pilly Baby. I wasn't sure what all would be included, so I was in for a bit of a surprise. Good thing I love surprises!

The contents of my package were wrapped in this adorable dragonfly tissue paper, and sealed with a Lilly Pilly sticker.

I couldn't wait to open my package to see what was inside. I had made a few suggestions, but knew that what was sent would depend on availability. I poured over the Lilly Pilly Baby website, and had so much fun looking at all of the adorable organic baby apparel and accessories. I could sweet Baby S in just about everything on their website. Plus- they had lots of fun gifts for moms, as well.

I loved the color choices I saw once I opened up the box. I had originally selected the cute Kate Quinn Organics onesie for S, and the Lilly Pilly team hand selected the other items to go along with it! Also included in the box was a Silicone Nursing & Teething Necklace, a natural pacifier, and loose tea.

So, so pretty!

I absolutely love Kate Quinn Organics. Their apparel is so beautifully made- soft and natural, perfect for a sweet little baby's skin. Their designs are so lovely, and I just love the colors in the print of this kimono. Honestly, I wish all onesies were made this way. This kimono opens all the way up. It crosses over the body on both sides and snaps on the sides, and on the bottom. The bottom snaps make diaper changes easy, and if there happens to be a blow-out, I can remove the kimono without having to pull it over S' head. So, so smart! The fabric is lightweight- which is perfect for these almost 100 degree days in NC. It keeps S nice and cool when we're out and about.

The other product that I received which I truly love is the teething necklace. I wasn't sure if I would wind up wearing one a whole lot, because I was worried about S getting all caught up in it while nursing. Truthfully, it's a wonderful necklace to have. Not only is it stylish, it's 100% safe for baby to chew on or grab onto. I wear it often while feeding S, especially when we're out and about. I like for her to have something within reach to grab onto or teethe on without me having to rifle through the diaper bag, and manage handling her. The necklace is colorful, and made from food grade silicone, so it's safe for S' little mouth. Right now she is teething and chewing on everything she can get her hands on, so I make sure to take this necklace with us wherever we go. It's important to note that I wear the necklace- I never ever (nor would I ever) slip it over S' neck- that's a strangulation risk. I know I shouldn't have to say that, but- there, I said it.

I love this necklace so much, and would love to have some others like it to coordinate with other outfits. S is starting to become easily distracted while breastfeeding, so this necklace gives her something to focus on- other than her silly brother, the TV, outside noises, etc.

I love teas, and have been drinking two cups of tea a day for nursing support. The Woman's Balance Tea is a lovely blend to sit down and unwind with at the end of a long day. Natural Pacifier for baby

The search for the perfect pacifier can be tedious. Every mom out there has an opinion as to which one is best, based on what did or didn't work for her own baby. My first baby became addicted to his pacifier, and was almost two years old before he gave it up. Baby S doesn't seem to want to take a pacifier, so I don't try to push it on her. I am glad, however, to have received the Natursutten pacifier. It's 100% natural rubber/latex, and is as close to mom as you can get. The pacifier is allergen-free, and is designed to press up against baby's nose to provide extra comfort, just like breastfeeding. I love that's it's super close to nature- so if S does decide to take a pacifier, this is what we'll give her. These beautiful pacifiers are made in Italy.
