My husband is a bit of a hypochondriac. Any time there's anything wrong with him, he thinks he's dying. He drives me crazy by constantly checking the internet with his symptoms, instead of making an actual doctor's appointment. He doesn't want to be inconvenienced by taking the time out to make an appointment and attend a visit. Lately, hubby has been complaining about pains in his stomach, and has been worried about everything from high blood pressure to stomach cancer. I love him, and I want him to be well, so I was really glad to learn about Convenient Care Now.
With Convenient Care Now, we're able to visit the doctor from the comfort of home, on our schedules. I really wanted some answers as to my husband's stomach issues. It sometimes makes everyday life unenjoyable for both of us. Seeing a doctor was easier than ever. We went to the Convenient Care Now website, and went through a few simple tests on the computer (to test internet connection speed, video capability, and sound). You can also use the Google Play App on your phone or tablet.
It couldn't have been easier to get started and use the Convenient Care Now site. I registered as a new user, and filled out some simple information for my personal profile. A screen popped up with a list of available providers in my area. We selected the provider we wanted to see, and were connected within minutes. There was only one patient ahead of us, so the wait time was minimal.
We were greeted by a very friendly doctor, who was ready to listen to my husband describe what he's been feeling. My hubby let the doctor know that he has been experiencing some stomach discomfort lately, and the doctor asked him a lot of questions. He also had him press on his abdomen to make sure that there wasn't any pain associated with the discomfort. After just a few minutes, the doctor gave my husband some advice, and told him that he would call a prescription in to our pharmacy. Hubby is going to try the medication for a couple of weeks, and then follow up with his regular doctor. He may have to have an endoscopy to determine the cause of the discomfort. My husband feels mostly relieved, and is glad to know that he can try this medication to see if it helps ease the discomfort.
The best part of the visit, was that we did it in the evening, after the kids were down for the night. No one's schedule was interrupted for the visit. No one had to miss work or shift schedules to make it happen. We did it right from our living room sofa, and had the answers we had been seeking within minutes of starting the visit. The doctor we talked to was pleasant, professional, and so helpful. It's amazing that you can visit the doctor anytime, day or night without ever having to leave your house. I know that I have felt too sick to even attempt driving myself to the doctor in the past. This is such an amazing service, and it's a wonderful benefit to those who need to be able to see a doctor and can't leave home.
You can save time and money by seeing a doctor when you need to, right from the comfort of home. Busy moms don't have time to schedule appointments, cart the kids around, or try to change schedules with their spouses to make it happen. No hassle- no traffic, no waiting rooms, no cancellations. See a doctor on your schedule, when it's convenient for you and your family, without needing to make an appointment. What I love most about this is that we can connect anytime- even in the middle of the night, if someone in out house is sick. We don't have to try to go to an Urgent Care Center or worse, the Emergency Room, or wait to call our doctor the next morning. We can have our appointment and receive immediate care.
