I am checking in with you today from the road! My family and I are on our way to beautiful Oak Island, NC- one of our favorite beaches. this area was hit by Hurricane Matthew, just a week and a half ago. We're braving the washed out highways, and we're on our way to our friends' beach house, a place we've visited man times. We love the community there, and can't wait to spend a few days of B's fall break there.

We rested up last night, so we could have a good trip today. As soon as we got up, everything started to go wrong. The image above obviously isn't me, but my husband sent it to me, and it makes me laugh so much... it's how I feel every morning, after my kids wake up. Do you ever feel like this?
