With the holidays approaching, I am already thinking ahead to our family vacation. Every year after Christmas, we head to the beach with our family for a week-long vacay. It's nice that the beach is just a few hours away, and we don't have to drive for hours on end, or even hop a plane. When we go to the beach, we do bring a lot of stuff with us. When you're traveling with a baby, you sort of feel like you have to bring the whole world with you, in case they need something. Thankfully, I have learned to simplify the things I pack for myself, and can get away with smaller bags for my clothes and accessories.

This year, we were invited to check out the beautiful Mia and Emmerson collections of gifts at Viv & Lou. I was so excited to see these pretty patterns, and the beautiful product selection. I had a hard time narrowing it down to which product I loved most, but ultimately went with the Mia Tile Travel Duffel. Travel bags are so handy, and they make excellent gifts!

I love the pretty pattern and design of the Mia Tile print. It has some of my favorite colors in it, and the design is on trend. As much as I wanted the bag for myself, I am thinking of others this season, and knew it would make a beautiful gift for Cousin B. She's a teen, and she loves going away to church camp, and spending the weekend with friends. Knowing how teens are, having a reliable and sturdy bag to toss your belongings into is a great idea. The fact that the bag is personalized with her monogram makes it even easier for her to keep up with her stuff when she's away from home.

I love the size of this travel duffel bag from Viv & Lou. It's not too big, but it's big enough to hold a lot of items, and still be functional for weekends away, over night trips, etc. If I were to use this bag, it would be perfect for holding my clothing for a week-long trip with my family. The handles are a perfect length, too. They can be carried in-hand, or over the shoulder with ease.

When bags get heavy, or you have to carry a lot of other things (ahem, like a 7 mo. old), a sturdy shoulder strap really comes in handy. The Mia Tile Duffel comes with a removable shoulder strap, which is also adjustable. It's awesome! You can sling the bag right over the shoulder, or carry it cross-body with ease! This is probably perfect for teens who just want to grab their bags and go, go, go. The bag zips across the top for a full closure. Having a zip-closure on a bag like this is a must for me. I don't want my belonging falling out and winding up who knows where?

Each side of the bag also has a deep exterior pocket.

The side exterior pockets are great for holding things like water bottles, and other items you might want to pack along with you on your trip. I never go anywhere without my water bottle, so this is a wonderful feature. I am always trying to figure out a good place to store mine!

There's also an interior zip-closure pocket.

An interior zippered pocket is also a plus for this wonderful travel bag. It's the perfect place to house those little items that you don't want loose in the larger area of the bag. I like to use a space like this to hold small toiletry items, or maybe even unmentionables or socks.

This bag has everything you need to hold your travel items for a road trip, a week away, or a quick overnighter. It's durable and sturdy- holds its shape really well, and can be wiped down and spot cleaned.
