I grew up in the time when washing your hair with beer was the thing to do.  I never did because I wasn't old enough to buy beer and my parents didn't drink so there was none in my house.  I am still not a beer drinker and have never washed my hair with beer but still hear how good it is for your hair.  Broo has shampoo and conditioners that will make your hair think you just washed it with beer.  I chose the thickening shampoo and conditioner because my hair is really thin and needs all the help it can get.  I loved these from the moment I opened them. I love that they don't have any "bad" stuff in them. And the smell was wonderful.  I didn't feel like I was going to smell like I had been drinking beer! Haha!  The shampoo lathered great in my hair but I did feel like I had to use double the amount of conditioner to tell that it conditioned my hair.  But, I think that is just me because I do that with all conditioners.  My hair felt silky smooth afterwards.  I just went out of town this past weekend and my girlfriend used the conditioner because she had forgotten hers and she commented on how great it smelled and how soft her hair felt after using it.  These Broo products would be a great little stocking stuffer for anyone on your list!
