Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I am enjoying being home with my little loves in the morning hours, baking casseroles and goodies to take over to my in-laws for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. I am very blessed that my parents and my in-laws are friends. Everyone gets along and loves one another, and my family will be spending Thanksgiving with my husband's family. My whole family gets to enjoy the holiday together. 

I am of course, missing my sister and brother-in-law, and all of my extended family. I wish that I could spend Thanksgiving with all of them, as well. The photo above was recently taken for our new church directory, which will soon be coming out. I love so many things about this photo. Most of all, I love that it captures the beauty of God's love for us. He brought me and my husband together over 15 years ago. We have two beautiful children, a humble, yet wonderful marriage, and I feel extremely blessed. The past couple of years have been hard ones for me to bear, and some days are hard still. I rest knowing that God is my refuge and strength, and that He is ever faithful. 

Yes, we'll be stuffing our faces with yummy food made with love today. We'll be playing games and telling stories... and making even more beautiful memories with one another. God is so good. Even in the hard times- He is good. My hope and prayer for you this day is that whatever you may be facing in your life right now, you take some time out to think about the good things in life, remembering that God pours forth His love and blessings, all the days of our lives.
