I absolutely love personalized gifts. They are so special, and unexpected. It does take a little planning to give someone a special personalized gift for the holidays, but I had a very special friend lend me a hand in creating the perfect personalized gifts for teachers and family members this year. I cannot wait to show you these gorgeous gifts and adorable designs!

Julie and I connected again for the holidays, and she offered to send me some beautiful gifts for B's teachers, and for my mom. I had been stalking Julie's gorgeous designs on Facebook, and was so thrilled for the chance to see some of her custom handiwork in person!

I received a total of six gifts from Midwest Pixie. Two of the gifts I ordered and paid for, and the others were gifted to me by Julie, for my review. I saw lovely Rear View Mirror Charms on the Midwest Pixie Facebook page, and thought that they would make great gifts for B's teachers! I also saw that MWP makes lovely badge reels for nurses and medical professionals, and thought that would be a sweet gift for my sis-in-law, who is a nurse.

I ordered this beautiful custom badge reel for my sis-in-law, and cannot wait to give it to her!

I was able to customize the badge reel with a photo of my sweet niece, M. I sent the photo to Julie, and she cropped it as needed to fit the photo holder on the badge reel. I was able to fill Julie in on some of Rachel's interests, like reading, faith, and family. I also chose the color scheme for the beads. Julie added lovely charms (she gave me a few extras- normally, the charms are added and you pay per charm). I love the way this turned out, and I can't wait to see the smile on my sis-in-law's face when she opens this sweet gift on Christmas morning! I also can't wait to see a picture of her wearing her custom badge reel with her badge and scrubs!

Here's a look at one of the beautiful rear view mirror charms for one of B's teachers!

B has one lead teacher, and two TA's for his class. He goes to a Christian school, so I wanted to be able to express faith, the school's colors, etc., on the charms for the teachers. Each charm is personalized with the teacher's name, and there's a coordinating background in the large personalized charm. The circular charm is circled with mini crystals. There's a cross next to each teacher's name, as well.

The teacher's charms are perfect gifts for B's teachers- I know they're going to love and appreciate these!

The teacher's rear view mirror charms are made of gorgeous beads in the school's colors- blue, black, and white. They'll surely show their school spirit with these hanging in their car! There are also special charms, like apples, crosses, and words charms, like TEACHER.

I know how proud Bis going to be when he presents these special gifts to his teachers. I know that we could have gifted them just about anything... we could have given gift cards, etc., but these are special handmade gifts that truly come from the heart. We want his teachers to know how loved and appreciated they are, and I think these pretty gifts say it all! These can proudly be displayed in the car, or anywhere. They come on a color coordinated ribbon, ready to hang.

The great thing about these is that they are completely customizable! Just let Julie know the specifics. Start with a name, photo, or graphic. Julie can help you find just the right picture to use, if you need or want her to. Next, add the colors. You choose the colors you want to work with, or let Julie know the colors of a school, team, workplace, etc. Add the other elements, like charms. Share interests or themes with Julie, and she can add the perfect charms to go along with it!

A beautiful gift for a grandma- this one (I ordered) for my mother-in-law.

I wanted to give special gifts to my mom, and to my mother-in-law. Julie thought it would be so special to make a photo charm of my kiddos for their grandmas, and she was right! Julie made two beautiful rear view mirror charms- one for each grandma. I sent Julie a photo of my kids, and she then worked with me to add coordinating colors and charms. For my mother-in-law, we went with colors she loves- purples and greens, Julie also added charms like a tea cup, a reading charm, and a beautiful cross. I was so happy with the way this turned out. I know that grandma is going to love seeing the light catch these pretty beads, and looking at her sweet g-babies!

A special gift for my mom- a jewel toned charm for her car.

Julie really outdid herself with the gift she made for my mom. This one was gifted to me by Julie for review. She used the photo that I sent of my children, and added a pretty coordinating stone. Her birthstone is a garnet, so this is just perfect! We used jewel tones for my mom's charmer. I love the deep green, red, and blue colors in this. Julie added so many beautiful charms to this, too! I told her how much my mom loves sewing, quilting, gardening, fashion, and the Lord, and Julie added charms for each of those things! This is such a beautiful and special gift that I know my mom is going to cherish! I cannot wait for the kids to give it to her on Christmas morning!
