Thank you to Capitol Records for providing me with product for my review. All thoughts shared are my own.
When it comes to music, I have an affinity for the greats... the greatest sings, and the greatest singers and musicians of our time. In my book, Reba McEntire is one of the greats. I have never really been a big fan of country music (except for a strange country phase in college, thanks to my roommate), but Reba's voice is one that I love to listen to.
Nothing like listening to inspiring music during a coffee break. Now all I need is my bible for some quality one on one time with God.
Reba is back, and better than ever! Reba’s twenty-eighth studio album is here, featuring 20 songs of faith & hope including “Softly & Tenderly” with Kelly Clarkson & Trisha Yearwood.
The CD features some of my favorite hymns that I grew up singing, and my all-time favorite hymn, 'How Great Thou Art.' Also featured is Reba's version of a popular Hillsong worship song, 'From the Inside Out.'
Reba reveals her heart and soul through these songs. I really appreciate when crossover artists come back to God, and give him the praise when it comes to their talents and careers. Reba is not only talented, she is a classy lady, and it shows through everything she does.
