Easter is just around the corner, and I am so excited to put together the Easter baskets for my family. I love Easter, and love seeing their faces when they find their Easter baskets after church on Easter Sunday! I have always made up an Easter basket for my husband, and I have loved putting together an Easter basket for my son these past five years. B has a lot of loves in his life, but his love for LEGO knows no bounds. Just the other day we were shopping, and just had to stop into the LEGO store to see what was new.

A few weeks ago, we finally saw LEGO BATMAN in theaters, and I have to admit- I was pretty darn entertained by it. We're both counting down until it comes out on DVD and BluRay so we can own it and watch it whenever we want to. Since B is such a big LEGO BATMAN fan, I knew that some LEGO BATMAN goodies would be the perfect gifts to fill his Easter basket with. I try to shy away from too much candy. LEGO gifts are perfect, because they'll keep B busy, and he'll love playing with them!

B is going to be so thrilled when he sees his Easter basket. He'll be getting some LEGO BRICKHEADZ, a LEGO BATMAN Alarm Clock, and Batman's Guide to Being Cool (book). You'll have to check back the week following Easter, when we share B's LEGO video review!

My husband is so excited to help B put together these cool LEGO BRICKHEADZ sets. Each set features one of the LEGO BATMAN characters- BATGIRL and THE JOKER. These sets are aimed at ages 10+. BATGIRL comes with 99 pieces, and THE JOKER comes with 151 pieces. These may be a little out of B's league to put together without assistance, but he'll have lots of help from family and friends. I have a feeling that once these BRICKHEADZ are put together, they will go on display on B's LEGO shelf.

Currently, B uses his daddy's old alarm clock by his bedside at night. He loves to know what time it is when he wakes up, and having a clock by his bed also helps him to know if it's okay to get up yet on Saturday mornings! He's going to be stoked to put this way cool LEGO BATMAN Alarm Clock by his bed instead of the old alarm clock. B loves to read. Most nights, he actually reads to me. He's reading at a 2nd grade level in kindergarten, and I couldn't be more proud of him. With so many trips coming up this summer, he's going to want to have some reading material for all of that time we'll be spending in the car. The LEGO BATMAN: Batman's Guide to Being Cool book is going to be a huge hit with my little reader! It's filled with fun pages of his favorite characters, and lots of cool advice from LEGO BATMAN, himself!
