Happy Saturday!
Can you believe it's already April 1st? The new month is starting off in a great way; today is my mother's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!) and later this evening D will be making her acting debut in the school play, Aladdin Jr.
D (and R) attend a magnet school that focuses on the arts. Since October, she and her cast mates have been staying late for play rehearsals. Not that long ago, there were some budget cuts, and I was pretty worried that this play wouldn't be taking place, but here we are. a few hours away from OPENING NIGHT! I am so relieved for the kids and the staff members that have dedicated their evenings to helping them prepare. We are truly blessed that our girls go to a school that has such a caring and dedicated staff.
I cannot tell you the level of excitement I feel for tonight. I am so proud of D, not only for working so hard to prepare for the play (she had to practice for 2 parts!) but also for her fearlessness in trying out. She certainly does not get that from me.

We hope that you have a great weekend!
