Thank you to Case And Drift for providing me with product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.
I honestly feel bad for my husband! Since I try to live a minimalist lifestyle, gift-buying occasions are tough. It's not that I don't want a gift, it's that I don't want to bring something into our small apartment that's unnecessary, or won't be used. As William Morris said, "Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful". Luckily these towels are both!
While living and traveling abroad, Casey Bagby was never without a Turkish towel. She found they had many great uses; beach towel, shower towel, plane blanket, scarf, cover up, yoga mat... the possibilities were endless! Casey decided to perfect the design and create Case + Drift, a unique lifestyle brand focused on the ultimate travel companion.
Case + Drift sent me two of their luxurious towels, the Ballina and the Lennox. I love how the towels came neatly rolled, showing off how compact they could become. I was anxious to use them for my daughter's swimming lesson later that day, so I put them in the washer. After five minutes in the dryer then air drying, the towels were ready to go in time for the lesson.
Beautifully hanging in my bathroom
I quickly grabbed the Ballina towel and tossed it in our swim bag. The usually stuffed tote had plenty of room to spare!
Cozy baby
The Case + Drift Turkish towels have very different textures, but both are extremely soft in their own way. The Ballina is a little heavier which made the transition from warm water to chilly pool deck easier.
Lennox Vs. Ballina
While my husband and I were chatting on the deck later that evening, the wind started to pick up. I had him run inside for the Lennox towel. With no effort, I fashioned the towel into a comfortable shawl.
Perfect for Spring and Summer nights
I quickly realized why founder Casey Bagby always kept a Turkish towel with her. My family found ourselves using them for everything!
A relaxing place to sit after playing at the park
My girl's favorite utilization is blanket, they can't resist cuddling under the plush, lightweight fabrics...
Watching a movie before nap
Stylish and practical
Minimalist, traveler, homebody... Case + Drift Travel Companions make an excellent gift for any mom. I can't wait to add a few more to my collection (you may have noticed, my daughters have claimed mine!). If you have a baby shower to attend, consider picking up a couple of these Turkish towels for the mom-to-be. They will love having such a thoughtful gift, that will still be useful after the bundle of joy grows.
The Ballina Towel was designed to be slightly heavier (about 50 grams) than the traditional turkish towel. This increases its versatility for you, making it a year-round staple. Uses include: towel, scarf, throw blanket, baby blanket and more! We will be restocking in new colors very soon!
Dimensions: 70 in (L) x 35 in (W)
Weight: 350 grams
The Lennox Towel was designed to be slightly lighter, better for uses in Spring and Summer. Not quite heavy enough to use as a blanket, like the Ballina Towel, but still makes a very nice scarf in cooler weather if you wish to use it year round!
Dimensions: 70 in (L) x 35 in (W)
Weight: 275 grams
Named after the beautiful coastal town of Byron Bay, New South Wales. The bright colors and fun pattern make it the perfect accessory for spring/summer travel or everyday activities!
Dimensions: 70 in (L) x 35 in (W)
Weight: 340 grams
