Slow Cooker Meatball Sliders #Tasty Tuesday

This is my family's favorite quick recipe. It's become my go to for days when I forgot to defrost protein for another meal, or I just don't feel like cooking! The best part is, it can feed my family of four for two nights. The meatballs are delicious over pasta, but Ray and I prefer making these super tasty sliders.

What you need:
24 oz jar of pasta sauce
30 oz bag of frozen meatballs
Mozzarella cheese 8-10 slices or shredded
slider buns or pasta
Peperoncino spread (optional)

Add a thick layer of sauce to the bottom off your slow cooker, then dump in the bag of meatballs

Top with the rest of the sauce. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-6 hours

Come home to the amazing smell of meatballs!

After slow cooking, the meatballs soak up the sauce, making them melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Your kitchen will smell like you spent the day cooking, when all you really did was put two ingredients in a pot. Total win/win situation!

Keep your slow cooker on! Top the meatballs with cheese and let sit for about 15 min.

This is the perfect time to prepare your carbs and sides! If you want pasta, start the water to boil. If you're making sliders, you can lightly toast the rolls. Since we don't have a toaster, I butter our rolls and toast them using a pan over med-high heat. These pair great with a simple salad or roasted veggies.

15 minutes later, yummm!

If you like your food with a kick (like me!), add some heat with hot peppers... I found this Cento spread that's amazing!

My toddlers requested noodles

Enjoy!!
