Being a mom to two little boys, as you may expect, is not for the faint of heart! Sometimes I think I can sing the song from "The Wizard of Oz"
in my head and it goes a little something like this:

With that being said, the sheer volume of clothing and shoes they tear their way through is mind boggling. I'm always looking for clothing and shoes in particular that are going to provide my little guys with support, durability and a dash of style for good measure. The first time I saw Super Heroic, I became instantly intrigued...
Who Are They?
These shoes are not your average pair of sneakers. You can tell just by looking at them how differently they are made. Super Heroic is a shoe company that began developing shoes with a goal in mind: to create footwear that will not limit a child's imagination or movement. I LOVE this mission. From the moment these shoes arrive at your door, your child is going to feel like a star through every step of the opening process.
The shoes arrive in a tube... I mean, space ship I should say! When you turn the lid to open, you hear a special sound as the surprises keep coming.

The two boys you are looking at in these pictures are my heroes. The one above is five years old and was born prematurely, weighing in at 2 lb 15 oz. He is sporting the Super Heroic hero cape that comes with your shoe purchase.
The picture below is my six year old who was also born prematurely, weighing in at 3 pounds. Both of my boys love their new shoes and have worn them every single day since receiving them in the mail!
They are my heroes because they fought for their lives while simultaneously giving miraculous new meaning to mine. Every single day, at some point during the day, I look into their faces and think to myself how drastically different our lives could have ended up. We do not take days for granted. We live and love and we do it with passion.
What Sets Them Apart?
There are some very key features in these shoes that are a departure from your "run of the mill" tennis shoe at your local shoe store. The TMBLR v1 is the shoe you see in the photos.
