One of the best parts of any holiday, is decorating your home to look and feel the part. I don't have a ton of space to decorate the way I would like to for every holiday that comes along. Christmas is one of the holidays that I go 'all out' for in terms of decorating, but again, there just isn't a lot of room in our adorable Craftsman home. Adding candles to our decor is one of the ways that I add a touch of holiday sparkle to my home.

Through out my life, I always loved to visit my late grandmother's home. It was always so clean and warm, and just made me feel safe and cozy. My Gram always had lovely candles burning in her family room, and I can still 'smell' warm apples when I think of her. She loved Yankee Candle, and I grew to love them, as well. I still remember the first time I ever visited a Yankee Candle store with her, and we both went crazy for the build your own votive samplers.

My Gram helped to instill what makes a good hostess in me. She came from a large Italian family, who would give anything and everything for their family and their guests. Making your home a place to be proud of is another thing I learned from my Gram, and my parents. Adding fragrant candles is just one of the ways to elevate the ambiance in one's home.
