Recently, I got an opportunity to review a product called Jamber. I was curious…What is a Jamber? Well, it’s a mug. I thought to myself, ok, what is so special about a mug that an entire company is built around it? Well by now, Y'all know I love my coffee. I am currently drinking my second cup of the morning. So, a mug sounded like a great product fit for me.
I went to Jamber’s website and discovered that it is not just a mug, it is a revolutionary mug. They claimed to have a new design on the traditional coffee mug that would revolutionize the morning coffee experience. In-ter-esting. So I contacted Diana and Allen, owners of Jamber, and asked for a sample product to try out...er, change my life.
Diana sent me a beautiful ruby red Jamber mug to enjoy (and a handwritten note - what a sweetie). The first thing I noticed was that the handle was a different shape than a normal mug, and it felt light in my hand. It was comfortable. I poured my coffee and enjoyed the cup. It was nice, I thought. So, I put the mug in the dishwasher and went on with my day. Later, I made another cup of coffee and grabbed a different mug to use since the Jamber was still in the dishwasher. As I was drinking my coffee, I thought “Sheesh, when did this mug get so uncomfortable…” It felt completely awkward in my hand. Not joking. I thought “ Am I even holding it right? What is happening?” And then I realized. I’d been Jamber-ed.
No mug will ever be as comfortable as a Jamber mug to me again.
It turns out, Allen and Diana designed this mug for Allen’s grandfather, who had pain in his hands that made holding any cup uncomfortable. It took them 2.5 years to get it right. They designed the handle to be “anatomically neutral” which reduces stress on the joints, tendons and muscles and makes it super comfortable and easy to hold. It’s science, people.
Want it? Get it!
So, proceed at your own risk. You will never look at your favorite mug the same again. This is the future, folks. The beautiful, scientific future. Brb, going to order more Jambers.
